I'm going to say you're in a significant minority here.
Not to mention I don't think it's just "Giant Bomb trying to be current" more so as it is Brad is legitimately excited about the game. Dude loves it, and wants to cover it. It's nice to see them enjoying video games once in a while when most of the time it seems like it's a slog through shit.
I'd personally enjoy a Diablo 3 TNT but I get why people wouldn't be into it. Outside of Vinny's antics, it wouldn't likely have a lot of random hilarity coming from the game. I'd say that any cooperative gameplay with the crew, no matter the game, is more entertaining than watching any of them play competitive shooters against the community, though.

I'd definitely prefer watching co-op. Anything community the community tends to totally shit up.
And I think having them do Hardcore characters could make for an interesting experience.
I'm posting just for the sake of +1 here but I totally agree. The best TNTs have always been when they're playing against each other, it allows for more tension and banter. The ones vs. the community usually just feel like being at your friends house while he plays something single player and you watch.
Co-op TNTs with the guys >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> playing with the community

I am looking forward to the inevitable Borderlands 2 TNT. That'll be shenanigans aplenty, I'm sure.
D3 TNT won't happen simply because they don't have four good PCs in the office. Even the co-op with Vinny was while Vinny was home sick.
Diablo takes "good" pcs? Eeeeh
they could lower the settings.
Ha.
I'm using an Alienware and everything is on lowest it can go and its still near unplayable for me
Specs? You could just be running into lag...I'm using an Alienware and everything is on lowest it can go and its still near unplayable for me

I think we already know Brad's GOTY 2012, he seems to really love the game.

Guys Brad wants ideas how to run diablo 3 TNT, so tweet your ideas to him.

TNT. Diablo 3. How would you run it? What's your ideal format?

Right there is your format and don't start too early on, when dying is almost impossible.
Here's a video of someone playing it on a Macbook Air. The framerate isn't perfect of course and it's only a small sample but I wouldn't call it unplayable based on this short video.

Has anyone besides Vinny and Brad played the game yet? You need at least a level 10 dude before you can start Hardcore. It's an awesome idea for a lantern run type of thing, but probably not suitable for this TNT.
Unfortunately the GPU in the newest Air (the one we have) actually got worse than the model they're using in that video.
