One does not question the GB thread.

I guess I really stuck my neck out there. There were certainly moments. Someone should do a best of the The Whiskey Media Happy Hour and do the community a huge service. I think the good to bad ratio wasn't great but when you aim a camera at the Giant Bomb and Tested crews for hours and hours magic will happen.

Yeah, the Happy Hours shined when Tested and GB did stuff. If anyone plans to watch them, just skip the Comic Vine and Screened stuff. Boring, and because of those segments subject matter they are quickly outdated.

I'm not a fan. There may be a couple specific episodes worth checking out but it was some of my least favorite content.

There was some awesome stuff that happened on HH every once in a while. Creeper Jeff, No no no don't shake the baby, most of the stuff Tested did when they actually prepared. That was the exception, though. 90% of the time it was bad, Comic Vine doing live readings of comics, Screened doing 15 minutes of trivia with callers, and Tested/GB not really having something interesting prepared. When it was bad, it was some of the worst stuff Whiskey media did.

Jesus, I left the thread like 10 mins before the stream ended this afternoon and we've got some amazing gifs, pics, and a banned GB-shitter?

Never change, GB-GAF, never change.

Amazon's Virginia EC2 is effed at the moment

Last time this happened was April 19, 2011. The day that Skynet became self aware, no less. This can't be a good sign. There was a story just on the news about a Global Hawk, an autonomous drone aircraft, that we "lost control of" over Maryland, resulting in crash. We're through the looking glass.

I'm going to be an asshole here and say they should split off the GiantBomb stuff from the Happy Hour as seperate videos. Because, and I say this as a comic nerd, did anyone really want to listen to Sara and Tony have boring interviews over the phone that went on way too long? I didn't care much for Tested's stuff, but I liked it a lot more than the Screened and ComicVine stuff.

So following in the foot steps of Jeff spending unnecessary money, I just bought Persona 4 Golden. I know next to no Japanese so I am just playing it along side the Endurance Run. If any GB staff wants a special P4G correspondent then here you go: "It's Persona 4 but it looks better and there's more shit to do in it."

Hopefully we get Doomsday day live stream, part 2.

Oh, that was unexpected good times.

I'm also so close to biting on P4G even though I've already played the PS2 version and the English release is so close. I think if Play Asia had Tokyo Jungle in stock I would've already went for it.

I did it the cheapest way possible and bought 2 $200HKD cards for the Hong Kong PSN store, came out to $60 and they deliver digitally. Only sucky part was changing my Vita over to my HK account, but I did a backup so I can restore easily when I am done.

My hands, they shake. Fuck you, Amnesia. The whiskey is doing nothing. There is no liquid courage in this hell hole.

Just screamed at nearly the top of my lungs. I'm near the end. I'm near the end. I'm near the end. I hope.

Tricky is making me want to either immediately start Amnesia or never, ever touch it. I'm not sure which.

I don't like horror movies, but I love adventure games.... and Amnesia bored me to stop playing it. I dunno. I recognize what it was going for, but it wasn't for me, I guess.

I'm bad enough with jump scares, let alone proper horror, so sadly no Amnesia for me. Great idea though

Also, I'd rather see another lantern run or more Quake 3 than Max Payne MP.
