This thread went from dumb to really, really stupid quite fast.
The line chart of dumb to really stupid over the course of this thread probably looks like the waves in a turbulent sea.
So are the days of the GB thread.

He is a reviewer at a rather biased gaming website. By the way, I think
the editors of that site are getting irate with us talking about them like
this.Good. Maybe they will see that we aren't fooled by their
"journalism", and clean up their act.
So...how about this past week's content? Managed to catch up on them and I just died during NBA Live '95 portion. Vinny just casually schooling Jeff even though he was pretty much scoring at will. The several Tetris Battle Gaiden close calls were intense too.
Still have Flight Club from the week before to go.
It's been great, for the first time since before last Christmas the are at a proper pace.
Couple weeks ago they had a really good week.
The 3 hour SNES-TNT was absolutely amazing. Exactly the kind of stuff I subscribe to GB for.
I couldn't stop myself from laughing every time Vinny scored from halfway across the field, casually destroying Jeff.
And Tetris Battle Gaiden remains one of the wildest multiplayer games I have ever seen.
I did a few months ago I'm loving the game.]I want to get tetris battle gaiden at some point[/B]but I can wait. I just dug out some of my old nes and snes games and started building up a collection again due to the retron 3. So many goddamn good games. Plus I picked up a gamecube for cheap as hell, who needs current gen?
Sunset Riders for the Snes and Robocop vs Terminator for the Genesis just showed up in the mail today.
Those guys eventually found my home address and started making fairly specific death threats.
There was another one about Syphon Filter 2, accusing him and all ZD publications of being casual jerks who conspired against Sega (and Syphon Filter, apparently).
True fact: the reason every week has been great is Vinny.
Ryan's back. Party's over.
Crosspostin' from my Usenet thread, but I was looking at reactions from 1996 at the announcement that FFVII would be coming the PlayStation, and guess who posted the first thread on alt.games.final-fantasy about it.
Three guesses.
Brad is still a JRPG guy somewhere deep down inside. They should make him play & review P4G.

They must be really desperate for video content.

I'm thinking about paying for a premium subscription to GB, but before I put down the money for an entire year I'd like to check it out if I like the premium content. If I go for the monthly payment option, is there an easy way to cancel my subscription if I don't want to continue it?
Last year they did some half price deals around thanks giving, you could wait till then.
From the Giant Bomb comments:
ahahahahaThe video is even better if you imagine a nuclear blast has occurred around 11:50 to 11:55 and they just didn't notice.

I bet Brads girlfriend just loves swallowing all that protein.

Hmm... @bradshoemaker just filed for vacation time that perfectly overlaps with this year's Gathering of the Juggalos.
