This would be great to have on the redesign.

I really don't like the GB forums/comments. It's sad because some of the members of that community really are awesome and (especially the artists) can create incredible stuff. The problem is with the other 90% that is fucking dumb...ugh...

So, most of the time, I simply avoid the GB forums and follow the staff on twitter instead so I still get to see al the amazing stuff the community does.
 
You know what would have been perfect content during this video game drought? An Endurance Run. Seriously. They said that it takes up too much time and commitment, but if all you're putting out is three QLs a week you desperately need some more content.

I don't get why the guys don't embrace their best work.

This randomly came to my head for some reason, but what was the name of the Bethesda published first person shooter that Ryan and Jeff did a quick look of? The one where they say fuck a lot. I'm drawing a blank
 
I don't think he ever seriously thought about buying it. He's at the dealership with Ryan who is buying a new car. If I had an hour to kill in a Nissan dealership you can bet I would be drooling over the GTR lol.
 
lol I'm sure Jeff makes a decent salary. You don't have to be a millionaire to lease a $100k car. Remember he has a roommate, no wife and no kids.
 
Jeff probably made some serious $$$$ from the site buyout plus I bet he makes a lot more then we would think. He is probably making Geoff Keighley money.


If he can splash out 100k for a car then I say go for it.


Also buy vinny a racing wheel you rich bastard! Spread the wealth!

Yeah, also I remember hearing him say on a live stream that he's apparently been driving around a '96 Mustang since well...'96. I'm going to assume that that car is long paid off and he hasn't had a car note in a long ass time.

I also say go for it. I wonder what kind of car Ryan bought? (Edit: nevermind, illmatic answered that!)
 
The GTR is a great car but would suck for a commute to SF from Petaluma every day. A friend of mine has one and we swapped cars for a week a while back. His car was a lot of fun but the harsh suspension just wears you out after a while. That's a 2 hour car, as in it's good for 2 hours of driving at a time before it starts to be uncomfortable.

Wait a minute what car do you drive that he let you borrow his GTR? Their commute is about an hour 1/2-2 so it could be perfect!
