I hope there is more luchadeer shirts, mine is my favorite shirt ever but has holes now :( Got comments/compliments basically anytime I wore it a public place.

I really don't like any of the new designs EXCEPT the member T which looks awesome.

do they ever do hoodies? It's going to be hoodie season soon, and I'd pick up a a basic logo one.

Seems to go against the "won't charge for what was free" thing they always talked about. Very confusing.

I think it was mentioned in one of the Radio Dave segments that the costs of hosting and bandwith versus the number of downloads for the TNTs were cost prohibitive or something like that.

I think they've been implying that it was going to be an EX for quite a while now.

As in saying "Gearbox is going to come by and bring Borderlands 2".

Hopefully they don't do the the EX = no real QL thing that they did with Darksiders2. They need to replicate the chaos of the 4 player multi they did in the QL for the first game.

That's pretty funny, I also got comments on that shirt from the most random people. I guess the head of a deer wearing a luchador mask is just universally appealing.

Best shirt they ever did was the chat dragon one, in my opinion. Kind of bittersweet now that Whiskey is no more.

Wow at the shirt designs. It would be cool if they sold something I would actually wear in public, and not something to wear when working around the house. Like a polo with a luchadeer logo embroided ala Lacoste or Ralph Lauren. But it probably costs way too much for that to be feasible.

I never truly enjoyed BuzzClik's work. There are a bunch of great artists in the GB community, I wish the dudes would give them a chance to design a shirt.

Was there a mark of the ninja quick look?

They did a live one but it wasn't archived... I hopy we won't have to wait until monday. I'm still trying to understand the pattern for the quicklook archives. Sometimes they go up within minutes and sometimes it takes 2-3 days. They could have had a technical issue (like with the TNT archive), who knows.

Now that I think about it, it might be on twich if they were using the open account.

Edit: LOL nvm, it's up on the site now. It wasn't there 5min ago when I checked. Yay something to watch while I work tonight.

Why does this remind me of Kleenex? I'm so easy to amuse.

It's riffing on Ed Roth's classic "Hot Rod" art. Which Jim Phillips riffed on.

ugh. The QLEX or whatever it was in which this happened was a low point for GB.
A high point for entertainment!

I do, it doesn't make it a good shirt.

A lot of people in the early 90's would've disagreed with you. And while you can say, "WELL IT'S NOT THE 90'S ANYMORE", that's kind of missing the point.

And yes, I am aware that Rat Fink originated sometime in the 1960's, but my memories are primarily of the resurgence in the 90's. I had Rat Fink toys!

My premium subscription finishes today, trying to resubscribe through paypal but it is forcing me to buy the t-shirt (and pay the shipping along with it) when I only really want the membership. Anyone know a way around that?

$35 with no Tee are always limited time offers, I believe.

Yeah but I remember last year there was an option to just not send the tshirt, it didn't take any money off but it meant I didn't have to pay another $15 for shipping it over to the UK.

I find it a little odd that they'll do a quick look of a game they just did a QLEX of. I realize they can say their true thoughts about it, but the actual footage won't be all that different.

Hooray for bringing features back just long enough to get us to resub. :(

Yeah I know. I'm not resubbing this year, the premium content has been weak as hell for months, and now there's this big push right before a lot of subs run out? It is probably a coincidence, but they are going to need to show me a few solid months of premium content before I re-up.

GB is a personality driven site and QLEXes are 90% PR drivel. I'm struggling to find any reason to watch QLEXes.

I'm aware it was popular in the 90's, I grew up in the 90's. I'm not dissing the reference, I like that idea especially for Jeff, but that doesn't make it a good shirt to wear.

That's what I'm saying, the fact they put out their own version a couple weeks later makes it so obvious to the general audience that they aren't worth it.

For example they did Borderlands 2, which comes out the 18th so of course we're going to have another QL of that as well.

I don't think its a coincidence. I don't think it's some sort of nefarious plot to cheat people out of their money or anything but they do have to remind people what they're getting. Also the dwarf videos were just random pc games anyway.

There are a couple good ones, like the Double Fine stuff, but otherwise they're pretty much useless and I don't watch them either.

The P4 Arena one was good, but I skip most of them.
I enjoyed that as well. There have definitely been good EXs, but the formula is such a red flag that unless it's a game I don't know much about I won't bother. I'm not sure who the audience is for something like a Borderlands 2 EX.

The SF3: Third Strike Online Quick Look EX was very good/funny as well. (Brad and Vinny sucking at fighting games while Seth Killian commentates)
