fuckin crazy

this would be the highlight of my life

Professional Wednesday was MUCH BETTER this week, and I'm not even sure why.

I love me myself some Ryan McDonald. He was pretty good back on "on the spot" days. I'm glad he made an appearance.
It was better because they didn't stick to a strict script of just "let's try to play as many of the games that came out this week". GB features always work better when they are able to fly loose. What they tried to do last week goes against their normal flow.

I agree that this one was a hit. Looking forward to having Professional Wednesdays every week now.

Did they edit the podcast? I could have sworn Jeff specifically sighted Sony's PR as having got a heated collective letter from the press, but I just put it on, and it said a console manufacturer.

Maxwell really fits in with the Giant bomb crew. He's the right kind of crazy. I fully support his jumping ship to GB once Brad leaves.

Even Chris Waters (is that his name?) wasn't as obnoxious this time around. I think he was much more into the GiantBomb "vibe", I guess?

It always strikes me as odd when people go and say "oh wait, I can curse on this show, right?" (like Ryan MacDonald did today). It's a much more personal environment, as opposed to a "broadcast" one. And that's what every GiantBomb production should be, since that's what they're good at.

Turns out CBSi is actually closing up Gamespot soon and is looking to see which of their staff would work out transitioning to Giant Bomb
I found it a little disturbing that the Gamespot stream had less than 300 viewers, eventhough it was advertised this time. Or did they link to the Giant Bomb chat?

Their live content sounds way over saturated, it probably turns people off to even looking at what's on. It all sounded like dumb cheap youtube videos as well.

I'm really scared for SR4. I just hope the story is fun because I can see the rest of the game feeling rushed.

I watched some VGCW on YouTube. It's okay. Is it more fun during a live stream?

Do you know wrestling culture?
Do you know wrestling game terminology/memes?
Do you know fighting game terminology/memes?
Do you know/enjoy stream monster habits?

The more you know about the above, the higher your enjoyment of VGCW becomes.

seriously man, this game looks unbearable

dat framerate

dat overly detailed models on a machine uncapable of handling that fidelity

what are you doing vinnyyyy

Weird.

I joined GB in mid February and originally told my membership would end on that day in march. 15/16th... dont remember exactly but it was going to be today-ish.

Checked right now and I am a member until the 30th. Thats great. Dont know how that happened. Thanks GB!

They extended it when the new design launched.

They extended memberships across the board by two weeks because of the rocky relaunch of the site.
