Good episode.

Positive
-Santana and Lauren Fight
-Lauren's attitude with Puck
-Good numbers. I loved "When I get you alone" and PYT
-Santana's revenge (mono stuff)
-Santana being called on her behaviour
-Santana in a nurse outfit
-The sleepover between Rachel, Mercedes and Kurt

Negative
-The Tina song
-Quinn's a bitch
-The Blaine and Kurt stuff was stupid. Ready to go after the gap guy but tells Kurt he needs time
-The ending was ridiculous. Kurt is organizing the event, does the presenting and doesn't even sing the song? Darren Criss milking again.

Blaine was ready to go after the random GAP guy and he told Kurt that he needs time and doesn't want to hurt their friendship? Hahaha isn't that what you say when you're not interested.
Exactly, no romance in that future. Leaves room for Kurt/Karofsky = Kurtofsky <3

Can't wait for Beibersode next week!

Yuck. I guess it works if Kurt has the battered lover syndrome. "Sorry I molested you, threatened to kill you and made your life a hell so hard you had to run away. I was a bit unsure about my homosexuality". It's so awful and a horrible message you know that RM will do it.

I think if Karofsky has a real revelation and tries to make things right with Kurt it's a possibility. I don't want them to rush the relationship together for this season (like they are slamming other couples around all over the place). But maybe friends at least first.

Plus Kurt's parent's honeymoon money isn't going to last forever, isn't he eventually going to have to go back to WMHS? Karofsky is going to be there, they will have to be friends or else we will just get more closeted homosexual homophobe bullies Kurt plots.

Maybe Finn can set them up on a date; he seems to be the take-charge guy lately.

I remember a scene in the first season where the New Directions kids were sitting around the choir room and having an impromptu jam session. And it sounded like actual singing.

I wish that would happen more often.

Yeah, I loved that. I think I read somewhere that wasn't even planned originally? Maybe I'm just remembering wrong but I do wish they would do more of that.

Best episode since Duets, easily. There's a pretty clear pattern: the strongest episodes are those that focus primarily or exclusively on the relationships amongst the ND members, and downplay or ignore storylines like the Will/Sue rivalry, Will/Emma, and ND vs. the football players.

Puck and Lauren are the new Glee power couple. They're amazing together.

Lauren rules then fucking school!

Grrreat ep! BOOM BOOM BOOM, EVEN BRIGHTER THAN THE MOON MOON MOON.

the less plot they have in an episode will do much better if there's a main focus. they got lucky since it's a valentine episode. we'll see how next episode goes.

oh and episode was great because lack of shue

Puck's newfound love for fat chicks is pretty much my favorite bit of character development on this show.

Quinn ditching the perma-ponytail is a close second. My god.

Santana is so fierce. I love both her and Lauren. Her fight was awesome!

I really liked all the songs presented tonight and I think Firework was my favorite actually. Quinn you bitch, I'll take Sam if you don't want him (she looked gorge tho). The cheerios look 100 times better without their uniforms. Tina's performance was hilarious lol.

Next week: No Sam, not the Bieber D:

I'm hoping they're starting to realize what a lost cause Schuester is.

He's easily the worst character on the show and one of the worst characters on television.

Amazing episode. Much needed after the train wreck last Sunday.

Tina's love song was hilarious. I was expecting Finn to throw up in the middle of it, but I guess that's not a symptom of mononucleosis.

Santana has become my favorite bitch on the show. Fierce princess.

I also loved the whole Kurt/Blaine storyline, which surprised me given that I'm almost always on the Kurt hate-train. Maybe they will finally stop (or wind down) the fairy tale bullying story and focus on Kurt being a normal human being like everyone else.

I also didn't hate Rachel and Finn too (in the latter, it was probably because he didn't sing). The segway into Fireworks was even sort of poignant.

tl;dr OH GOD WHAT IS THIS, A GOOD GLEE EPISODE. IT'S LIKE A UNICORN.

I feel like I'm in a parallel dimension. People thought that was a good episode?

All the love quadrangle/betrayal/cheating bullshit and awful dialogue, awful song selections and retarded behavior....argh, lol. That was one of the worst this season for me.

I mean, I loved Lauren and Puck, and I was glad to see Kurt knocked out of his fairytale fantasy, but that's about it.

Will, Emma and Sue vanishing from an episode really hurt things (I'm aware Emma's been gone for longer than just tonight's ep). The faculty's interactions with the kids were usually the heart of the show for me. They were all parts to a much more awesome whole.

Kurt and Karofksy winding up together sounds like awful fan fiction. I don't think that'll ever happen, but it's Glee, so who knows.

Episode of the season, at least so far. Great song selection. Lea Michele rocked firework.

Puck and Lauren are a great pairing, I hope they keep that storyline going for a while.

Also, Naya Rivera can give me mono anytime she wants. Hot damn she looked amazing.

Getting this off to a slow start, since I never posted about Sunday's show. I know there was discussion about how out-of-place the Warblers' performance of "Bills, Bills, Bills" was in the plotting of the episode.
What I didn't see was any explanation as to how/why a song chastising one's romantic interest for not being economically self sufficient would ever make sense in context for a for a bunch of kids whose parents are paying for them to go to private school. With familial wealth factored in, that song just becomes classless in-context.

Back to tonight's episode, the show would be so much better if it were centered around the characters who bring are actually funny....instead of bogging down with disposable romances. More Santana, more Brittany. (more Santana-on-Brittany); the more time given to Finn, Quinn, Sam (who seemingly exists to create conflict for Finn...and to have a comically over-sized mouth), Will, Emma and Rachel....the less appealing the show.
The course of the season does enough on its own to make me not like most of the glee club; can't the show just revel a little bit in the characters it makes interesting...even if in a guilty-pleasure sort of way?

(And I literally have no idea what was going on during 'My Funny Valentine?' Was Tina going schizophrenic? Are they going to need to bust her out of a mental hospital in order to have enough people to compete at sectionals? Maybe I wasn't paying enough attention, but that was just odd.)

Every single Santana scene this week was solid gold. She's the best character on the show besides SMFS. The actress who plays her is really fantastic too, her delivery makes those bitchy lines 10x better.

Murphy also basically stated he was going to ruin Kurt & Blaine's relationship whenever it happens.

If you're talking about the rumors that Blaine is coming out as bi Murphy has already dismissed those. Man, would it be a major f up on Murphy's part if he made Blaine bi. Though it is so awful I could see Murphy doing it as Murphy has made Blaine a poster boy for this show and probably want to get him with every character combination possible. But I could see Blaine and Kurt getting together and staying together for the rest of this season with maybe a break up very early next season but not before. The viewers want the pairing so much, Murphy wants ratings, I can't see them getting together and breaking up all in this season.

Also, didn't know Criss was that furry. That is kind of hot. :)

Nope.

He’s even coy about whether they’ll get together at all. "When that moment comes -- if it comes, says Murphy, "I want to treat that relationship like we treat all the other relationships on the show. I want it to be as flawed and as exposed as everyone else’s."

Well, it is a comedy/drama. If the satus quo remains unchanged for to long it gets boring (you've never felt that way?) But looking at past relationships on this show I bet it will go on for a long time. He has been pretty good with relationship arcs for a drama so far. Look at Finn/Rachel, Artie/Tina, Finn/Quinn, Sam/Quinn. The first two were definitely together for almost half a season before anything bad happened to them. Considering that we are still a few episodes away from a Kurt/Blaine pairing at least (it would just feel too weird to get them together right after this last episode) I think we are clear for romance for the rest of this season. Next season, though, is fair game and I'm totally betting on Murphy to take full advantage of it.

I actually think Murphy will hold out on the Blaine/Kurt pairing until the last few minutes of the episode right before we go on break this season again if he was smart.

they all sing. it's like they take the studio version and dub it over.

It's so illogical (and fitting) for Ryan Murphy to make the proud and out gay character suddenly question his sexuality.

Knowing this show they'll probably conclude the episode with bi-sexuality not really existing or some bullshit
