Don't you guys think it would be interesting if someone made a really successful, well made film that's just about a bunch of Christians doing good things for other people?

No conversions, no ridiculous persecution complexes, no contrived moral dilemmas, just people living their lives in a positive way.

That would almost be sort of Christian.

Would it then come off as hypocritical though, or would you accept it?

The best part is that this actor is in the best christian movie ever : Suing the Devil.

Most of this is just ridiculous and delusional, but the bolded genuinely infuriates me. Stuff like that doesn't just spit in the face of medical science, it's a genuine threat to peoples' lives. You will never go into remission simply out of pure faith, and spreading the belief that it's a viable method to fight cancer will lead to unnecessary deaths and suffering.
If you can pray the gay away you can pray cancer away.

We're talking about the same people who probably think vaccines are evil. Pray cancer away is the least of their issues.

Anyone seen Omega Code?

One of the best "christian films". Almost like a supernatural thriller, lol.
Has Michael Ironside and Rico from starship troopers

Plot revolves around a Bible Code (popular theory in the 90's) that predicts future events. Movie basically insinuates the Bible code is bullshit and the events that happen are a result of self fulfilling prophesy.

Someone should make a movie that's just like God Is Not Dead for the first 30 minutes. Then suddenly, the evil atheist professor or something dies in an accident. The remaining hour is just scenes of him being horribly tortured in Hell, his skin burning off in a lake of fire and so on. The trailers wouldn't show any of it.

Idk, maybe it would be cool.
Really underrated post

I'd watch it. Courageous was sort of like that and not totally awful.

It's always been a wish of mine to see Wadjet Eye's The Shiva get a film adaptation.

Is it okay that I believe in God and have never heard of these movies?

Reading this thread really makes me not want to. Lol

It's absolutely ok. There's a small part of me wants to believe in God again, and these movies do an excellent job of keeping me away from God, rather than moving me closer to God again.
