I feel you, hard to argue. God of War is as close to a perfect game as I have played this gen. That being said, I still have really high hopes for Ghost of Tsushima and TLOU2 for PS4 exclusives, and CP77 for multi-plat GOTY

GOW is the Best PS4 exclusive. Is not even close.
It's my favorite Sony first-party game this generation, I think. But, Bloodborne and Persona 5 both top it overall for me.

I would love for the combat to be totally revamped as I thought it was awful. I also understand I'm probably in the minority, but I found the combat in the original games to be much better. I know the game is balanced around the mechanics, but in an action game when you can be surrounded, I prefer it if you don't back pedal when holding down on the analogue stick. You should turn towards the camera.

What if the in got of war 2 instead of hitting square to have the kid shoot stuff a 2nd player controls him? if not then Ai does and square button to shoot again

Oh I don't disagree the game is an absolute marvel and I look forward to replaying on PS5 but for me I always seem to be about the next best thing. Though I don't think I'd call myself easily impressed.
God of War is one of those all time kind of games and I seriously can't wait to see what they'll do with the PS5.
All of that said I still think TLOU2 is going to be a fine contender for best game in PS4 if not best game of the gen.
God of War will be difficult to beat. It was after all the game that finally got me to buy a PS4.

GoW needs a taunt now, i never felt that the game was more stylish than in this version. I would also like if they add some wrestling moves but i feel like that would be to awesome to happen.
Anyhow, i don't think it's a matter of IF it's getting a sequel but when.
Edit: The game also needs offset combos since there are a lot of moves behind chained moves and if you dodge you can't access them.
Here is me failing miserably in give me god of war trying the 100 enemies challenge.

Call me back when SSM does something other than GoW, then I'll be shocked. Of course it's coming, they basically restarted the series to keep it going again, the question is not if but when. I'd say SSM will as always take their time to squeeze everything from PS5, so 2023 at earliest.
