My thoughts on God Of War Ragnarok

Selfishly bummed that the new ones are so successful because I'd love to see what SMS could do with the old style and cameras on modern systems. 2018 was fine but never had the urge to replay it or buy Ragnarok despite replaying all of the other 6 games sometimes multiple times.

I had one plot question that is a spoiler...
I apologize, I wrapped it in spoiler tags but do not see anything to reveal.

-Spoiler-
"Was Odin, Tyre all along? The real Tyre is dead? If so Odin sure had lots of time to kill. If not, what happened to Tyre?"
There's a postgame side mission that tells you what happened to him

Edit: Apologies I tried to put it in spoilers but it wasn't working so the original reply looks snarky. Didn't mean it like that.

I liked it much more than 2018 (which I also finished).
I did like the PS2 era God of War style of chasing huge bosses around the level, even thought they were few and far between.

I’m playing it right now on my Pro. The combat is fun so far but only about two hours in. I never finished 2018. I get the criticism on the field of view and I’m already annoyed at the dialogue.

I prefer 2018. In Ragnarok the pacing is worse because it's longer. Also the field of view sucks. The parts with the kid they could eliminate that or some of it. Like the wood section with the girl.

Didn't even consider playing Ragnarök after GoW 2018.
It just doesn't feel like GoW anymore.
I'd rather replay any of the original GoWs anytime.
Luckily we have 5 awesome GoW games
