Great stuff. I never got around to Fallout London so this will be nice and easy way to get into it. Skyblivion is already there too.

So it's basically their version of steam workshop. Nice.

Edit: Oh, seems they choose what goes there, so not quite the same. Still cool tho

Heard great things about both Enderal and Archolos. Glad to know there's an even easier way to play them now.

I might not be the biggest fan of their games but man, the stuff they are doing on GOG is 100% worthy of praise.

As cool as Steam Workshop is it's very limited by file sizes. This is more for the large scale mods and GoG is making custom installers with the mods.
I think a better equivalent is the community mods features (which is what is used to host stuff like enderal and archolos on steam)

that's really nice to have, sometimes I feel overwhelmed when I mod some games so having a curated list easy to download should be super helpful
Spend 30 hours modding your game until you don't want to play the game anymore :messenger_grinning_sweat: This can happen with Fallout / Elder Scrolls sometimes.

I've never had an interest in using mods and I find PC fans' utter insistence on them more than a little grating, but this is cool. I like seeing GOG implement things that feel like they've actually heard what people are asking for.

This is how you actually compete with steam. Great work, gog. I'll probably re buy elder scrolls games on Gog, and only buy the big mod type games from there moving forward

Yeah, to hell with people who enjoy using the products that they purchase as they see fit! Freedom is for losers!

OT: GoG was already the best platform just for giving you true ownership, but this takes it to the next level. I love mods, but I don't necessarily love "modding" if that makes sense, so this is literally the most interesting thing I've seen of any platform to date, and it's incredibly compelling. This isn't a maybe, I will be utilizing this extremely often.

Fantastic stuff out of CDP, as always.

Enderal has its own steam page. If you have Skyrim installed, it will use the files but otherwise acts as its own game. Only game I've seen do that.

GoG keeps delivering, excellent feature. Some games are just unplayable with the correct mods, some other are just as professional if not more than the base game.
The curated list looks excellent so far.

That's my friend is what master race means.

Horn of the Abyss is mandatory to anyone that played HoMM 3.

Waiting for the Roguetech and the Neverwinter 2 enhanced mods now.

ps. didn't even know that Skyrim was on Gog.

London i believe does this too.

The standalone version of Enderal is the right one, i doesn't mess with your Skyrim saves/files and is easier to mod. (mod within a mod, yo dag!)

I could have sworn that I already owned Doom 3 on GOG... but it turns out, I only have it on Steam, and the BFG Edition. I can't try this out. It sounds like a neat idea overall. It seems like they are just using custom GOG installers or .bat files to just install the the mod files to the correct directories. Neat idea. Because some of the old DOS/ Windows software on GOG require exterior modding. In many cases, you would find a link to the mod in the games 'comment section' on GOG.
