Does gog do black friday sales? What are the November sales they usually do? And December?
So, with Crysis and Crysis Warhead now here, I think the only EA games I still need are Alice (the first one), Dead Space 2, and Crysis 2.
Edit: Oh, and some of the C&C stuff. But we're still close.
Forgot Mass Effect 1 and 2.

Man, I'm totally starving for good old (pre 2002) game releases. It has been a while.
I guess that's just a matter of time. Really looking forward to Tachyon!Hopefully THQ Nordic's new acquisitions make their way to GOG soon.

Also, kinda strange that GOG is using the 2011 console release trailer on their site for Crysis.
Same here.
I'd have it on Steam already, but I've always been concerned with whether it'd run. Steam overall really doesn't care about compatibility, with most older stuff being a buyer-beware kind of deal.
There's no requirement that Steam titles run on modern OSes, so for older games released on the store you can see a slew of compatibility issues. It's generally fixable, but some games require very arcane solutions or are outright broken. How come they never care about compatibility?
GOG takes care of the compatibility of (older) games themselves while nobody really cares on Steam. How come they never care about compatibility?

Yea I am not a fan of anything being closed since this is PC. Maybe gog will get their equivalent of the workshop with galaxy.A concern for GOG is there is no equivalent community creation hosting to Steam Workshop.
I just bought Deadbolt on GOG before noticing there is a large-ish Steam Workshop presence with hundreds of extra community-created levels. With no way to manually download any of them (the sites that use the Steam API to try and extract the download link fail due to various specifics) it reduces the value of the GOG version.
The same for other games. Distance, an upcoming car racing game with some indie buzz, has over 1700 levels on Workshop that aren't available on either the standalone version or PS4 version. Workshop has created a closed ecosystem. Obviously great for Steam but it means customers of other versions miss out on the considerable additional content and value.
Add to that the Steam sales that frequently see the same games discounted more heavily during sales/bundles/promotions and GOG customers regularly end up paying more for less.
Daaanng, GOG got Inside. Was really thinking it wouldn't get a DRM-free release anytime soon, seeing as how the Steam version was loaded up with Denuvo. Glad I didn't buy it until now.

Wondering what does that mean for GOG? More EA DRM Free games?

You're a gentleman and a scholar.I've got all the free games already, so when I inevitably get the codes, I'll give those away on here.
