Is AMS: Cover that good? I somewhat enjoyed... things about the first season, but I'm not really digging Asylum at all.

Also if Leo/Wolf doesn't win in each of its respective categories I'm fuckin done.

I love that Before Midnight is in the Comedy/Musical category.

Why are those two lumped together? I never understood it. These awards are usually a joke anyway, Hollywood Foreign Press and all that (that Madonna movie, that Johnny Depp movie), but I'm interested in how they work. Do you have to be a member to vote? On wiki, in order to be a member you have to live in Southern California.

Do you pay your way for a nomination like big studios lobbying their films e.g. Weinstein? Is that how the Oscars work?

I still feel like it will get overlooked simply because most of the people making the votes watching it as a DVD screener.

I don't know, of the awards movies Gravity is the Blockbuster one , It had a huge box office even before awards season . Also this is the Golden Globes and they love their stars, whatever prejudice they might have on Gravity being a sci-fi is nullified Clooney and Bullock.

The Globes don't "operate" like the oscars. They usually prefer to award new shows in favor of old ones.
