Anyway, photos.
This is my two companions on the trip. My sister was dressed up as Ramona Flowers and the other one is Yuna, obviously.
I have no love of Yu-Gi-Oh - in fact it's fucking terrible - but I was impressed this guy sat there from morning til night making this. This is from the early morning.
My first little con mini story is that when we first came in, we went to the Independent Hall for the small booths. And my sister immediately recognized Nicki Clyne coming in, and struck up a conversation. As they were fans with the show (up until the terrible ending), she just had a lot of small talk but she was really sweet asking us if we wanted a picture with her. Her manager then jumped in saying that was against her contract, and she debated with him about that for a little bit before getting him to agree to let us take her picture minus my sister in it. But I liked that so much I decided I wanted...
...her autograph. Everyone was on line for Starbuck but who cares about her.
Random costume.
Need more be said? First thing you're bombarded with as you walk into the main Exhibition Hall is fucking Michael Jackson dancing booth. Looked terrible but of course, casual crap wins the day and there was a massive crowd all day.
<3 Samurai Jack. This guy was a traveler though, we saw him like fifty times throughout the event.
My Goal was to get as many Doctor Who photos as possible, being a huge fan.

Uh...another...person...dressed up as Ramona. There were fifty billion Ramona Flowers there at the show. Easy costume to make, understandable.
This was a more traditional Ramona.
Green Hornet looks terrible but the car was rad. Girl wasn't bad either.
This girl was one of those trendy feminine gothic artists that was so prevalent but I genuinely fell in love with some of the artwork itself she did. Amazing use of colors throughout it all, I personally thought. I won't buy her graphic novel but I did support her in this way by buying my favorite print.
