I'll never understand how Google is an internet company, but their roll-outs are so slow compared with Apple. If I don't side load the APK, I'm sure it'll be a day or two before the update pops up.

Agreed about the Genre radio stations. That's something that should have been in there on day one. Oh well, at least they're there now.

Still can't believe there isn't an iOS app. My wife is ready to cancel because of this.

Yeah, that's so strange. I wonder what the holdup is.

I wish they would add little EP/LP/Single info to the the artist "albums", I'm so tired of looking up a new artists and not knowing which are the singles and which are the full albums. =/

I think, at this point, my only issue with Google Music is the lack of smart playlists. It's only been out for two years though, I guess...

I thought it had smart playlists for a long time? Or am I getting confused with radio stations... or... wait, what's the difference? Lol.

I know social media is 'out' and everything, but I would love an easier way to share playlists - I'd be interested to see what the top playlists in particular genres might be for example.

I'm probably going to cancel my rdio subscription and go all Google music. Just waiting for them to release an iOS app.

Yeah, a total mystery. Whatever could be holding up the launch of a superior music subscription service on iOS?

This. Ever single time it loads the same handful of tracks in the same order. :|

That and when I edit an existing playlist from one device, that playlist is not updated in another, which is time consuming. Also, I still get recommended radio stations that don't actually do anything but create errors when attempting to listen to them.

I might switch to Google if/when they launch the iOS app. Spotify's tagging is a mess and kind of bothers me. My last.fm profile has gone to hell. I like how Google lets you edit song information.

Well that sucks and good to know I guess.

I emailed them about that in July. They emailed me this:
We are still currently working on this for our customers! We really understand how bad you guys need your music and we are working very hard for that to happen. I will stay in contact for update on this issue! I really appreciate your patience and understandings.

They emailed me again last week with this:
Thanks for your patience. I'm so sorry that you had an issue with your Google Play Music All Access subscription. We've fixed the problem and I've made arrangements so that you can now go back in and resubscribe at the $7.99 monthly promotional price. To resubscribe, visit https://play.google.com/music/listen#/settings from your computer and click the "Subscribe to All Access" button. Alternatively, you can also go to Settings in the Google Play Music app on your Android device and tap "Subscribe to All Access" to resubscribe. Happy listening!

Thanks for bearing with us. Please let me know if you run into any additional issues and we'll look into them right away.

So I can't download/pin for offline a single track of an album?

Yep, make a playlist, name it "Offline" or "Local" or something and just Pin that playlist. Add any track you want offline to that playlist.

I personally just Pin the built in "Thumbs up" playlist, so any song I vote up automatically saves for offline playing.

Got a response.

Google Play Music All Access costs $9.99 a month. If you start your trial by June 30, 2013, we’re offering special introductory pricing of $7.99 a month. The $7.99 monthly price is valid for the duration of your subscription, so since the subscription was cancelled the promotional pricing was also lost. I'm sorry if this causes any inconveniences for you.

So it is a no-go.

I hope Google continues to tinker with the radio stations. The variety within a single station is too much, and oftentimes it seems as if no thought went into the songs/bands that appear in certain playlists. Too random. Also, where is the Classic Hard Rock playlist? There's hard rock, classic rock, and classic metal (which comes the closest), but that hugely popular genre is absent. Gimme my AC/DC, Dio, and Black Sabbath in a single playlist.

Hopefully they add this stuff soon, along with the ability to start a radio station based on either the band or the song. Come on, Google, that should have been an obvious move.

You can already start a station based on a band or a song. When an individual song is playing, it's based on the song. If you look up an artist, you can start radio based on the artist or album.

I'm really enjoying the genre radio. It's a much welcome addition.

Looking into this again after becoming a little turned off by Spotify. I hate how Spotify got rid of the "What's New" section. I used that every Tuesday to see what came out. Now it's "Discover" instead which I hate and find no use in. I also hate how Spotify's "Top Lists" are so limited. You can see the top 100 albums and tracks and...that's it. I want to see top albums by genre. Sick of seeing the same top albums week after week. Never going to discover anything that way.

Google says the iOS app will be out this month. I'm sorry to have lost my 7.99 rate, but I guess I might still try it for a month. At least I can see what albums are new which is almost worth switching for.

I have love hate relationship with it.
I love the all access, but Google has literally single tracks missing out of albums for some reason. Moreover, the shuffle and genre radio stations can be silly and the recommended stuff is pretty much a joke.

Shit, I still have the program completely flip out and stop on my S4 every so often as well. The UI still feels really off as well.

With that said DAMN THAT PRICE IS NICE

So Google Music All Access is now available in Mexico with 30 day free trial, after that if you decide to keep it it will cost you $79 pesos per month, which is cheaper than the $106 pesos I pay for the US version. Has anyone tried it? I'm not sure if the song selection will be the same, if it isn't then I'll switch to save some money.

Anyone else having problems with the desktop version? It quit working for me last night and is still down this morning. On my phone, it works fine though.

Using the desktop and selecting a song the, loading arrow just spins constantly. But navigating every menu is just like normal except for the part when it needs to play music.

I have found a few other people with the same problem on twitter, but no statement from Google.

I think Google is literally having problems.

Have you tried turning your computer off and on again? *IT Crowd joke*

Not working for me either. In the UK, if it matters.

Edit: Playing now after a refresh.
