Kiddie table predictions? Who comes out on top this time. I mean I know "on top" doesn't mean much, but anybody want to guess who the next Carly is?

Jindal?

My god, I just found out that the debate is scheduled to last ~3 hours. Even the Jr. Debate is supposed to be 2 hours. I don't know if I have the stamina for this, but it will be fun to see whether the candidates do.

The long duration should mean a little more time to hear from each candidate, which should be interesting over the next few weeks. I was amazed when Carson got a bump after the last debate when he said absolutely nothing, but quickly realized that expectations for him were so low that the fact he showed up with pants on his bottom half and a shirt on his top half was seen as a resounding success. This time he won't have that luxury. If he gets to/has to talk for more than a couple of minutes, he'll absolutely crash and burn.

Same with Walker for that matter. People heard him for a few minutes last time and his poll numbers cratered. I can't wait to see what people think if they get to know him a little better.

And of course I can't wait to see Trump demolish Jeb. I guaran-damn-tee that while other candidates have been memorizing policy positions given to them by their billionaire donors, Trump has been working on zingers making fun of Jebby. This is going to be GREAT.

No. Jindal is even more off-putting than Walker. This is a guy who's own state can't stand him. His claim to fame is championing a program allowing parents to take their tax money to send their kids to religious schools, forgetting that "religious" doesn't mean "Christian." The gasps from LA Republicans when they realized they accidentally established state funded Islamic schools were amazing.

No one left in the kids table debate has a chance in hell to ascend to the big show.

No. His first televised speech will forever haunt him. Jindal will never be a think no matter how much he wants it to be.

Hah, no, Fiorina was the only kiddie table candidate ready for prime time. Now that we've lost the unintentional comedy of Rick Perry, the GOP should relegate Chris Christie to the kiddie table to fill that role.

Lol how much did Christie pay for these campaign ads? I've seen it like 8 times now and I don't recall seeing another candidate's ads.

This Ben Carson rise kinda came out of no place

It's par for the course. GOP crazies suddenly realize this other candidate is crazy too, so they switch because they get bored of the old guy.

There's also a lot of bandwagoning. Many ill-informed voters simply vote for whoever they think will win instead of who they personally like because they want their vote to "feel" like it meant something, they enjoy the feeling of voting for a winning candidate, and just general textbook herd mentality ("everyone else is voting for him so I will too because so many people can't be wrong!!").

Sometimes I'm still in disbelief that Trump is really running, much less ahead. I mean look at this shit show here. We're just a stone's throw away from this glorious future:

Trump is still a few million cool points away from Mr. Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho.

I believe they're streaming it for free starting at 6 EST when the second tier debate starts.

Oh that could be. Interestingly, their "preview" broadcast was supposed to end for me but I'm still getting the live feed on their website. Maybe others will too.

Watch the kids table just to see how Graham spins every question into calling for war.

He's amazing. Every word is WAR WAR WAR, delivered by someone who sounds like he's going to cry at any moment. Looking forward to him just giving up and screaming "WHY DOES NOBODY LIKE ME? DON'T I DESERVE LOVE?" Followed by McCain rushing in from off stage to embrace him.

This should be fun. I actually think CNN will break 30 million viewers since the hype has been built up since the first debate where Fox got 24 million.

regarding the lvie stream

If you don't have cable, you'll still be able to watch CNN's Republican primary debate on Wednesday night, because the network is live streaming it for free on the web.

The live stream will be front and center on CNN.com between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET. It'll also be available through the news organization's apps and the CNNgo web site.

CNNgo is the Internet streaming version of CNN. Viewers usually have to log in with cable or a satellite provider password since CNN is part of the bundles of channels cable subscribers pay for.

Nearly 80% of homes already have access to CNN through those bundles. Wednesday's live stream will make the debates available to anyone else with an Internet connection.

One important note: It'll only work within the United States.

so just keep refreshing CNN I guess

this country is fucked

hillary, bern and ole diamond joe are the only hopes

i want to like jeb bush but i remember early 2000s jeb and i just can't

Jindal is probably gonna come out swinging like crazy to try to get some kind of boost.

The other 3 are even more irrelevant. Why the hell is Pataki still running?
