Got fired 4 1/2 months ago, now make 3x what my boss did + $100 Giveaway Time

Wow, the day just got so much better. I know most of you won't understand this, but my affiliate manager just more than doubled my cap on one of my most profitable campaigns, I kept hitting the cap daily and having to stop traffic (stop money from coming in), but now they more than doubled the cap (2.5x to be exact), so my revenue should do about the same.

Actually, what I'm gonna do, since the giveaway was $100, and my lead cap was actually 100, since the cap has been raised to 250, I'm raising the giveaway to $250 :)

Depends on the company. Mine doesn't give,"sick time" at all. We get "wellness days" and can take them anytime for any reason. Regardless, it's pretty lame Someone would get canned for missing the same days over a 6 months period regardless of performance.

Wow! You've also inspired me. I just register for a domain site, I've been thinking about launching something for the last year, and I'm going to go for it.

You say those numbers are revenue, not profit. You say that a lot of it is profit, though. Define "a lot."

And are you accounting for federal and state taxes? If you're self employed then you're paying taxes quarterly, correct?

I'm registered under an LLC, and yes I know what I'm doing but thanks for checking lol

EDIT: I just realized, aren't you the same guy always asking tax questions in any thread I post that has to do with money? Do you work for the IRS? Just curious.

Well with tuition fees I don't think I can buy stuff I want anytime soon. Hopefully I get a little luck on my side. Good luck everyone, will post when watching Jeopardy.

i dabbled in affiliate marketing before in the past. kudos to anyone making it work for them. im all about getting out of the 9-5 grind

What you don't see in that screenshot for December, is the $2,000 or $3,000 I lost between August and December learning the crap out of the business, trial and error, experimenting, staying up until 8 in the morning the next day, not eating shit in the NBA threads as much as I used to, etc.

that was in the original post sounds favorable to you? I'm not recommending anyone get into affiliate marketing, I'm simply giving MY story and how it has turned out well for ME with hard work. The realities are that it's a business like any other, when you start making money, yes you'll get 1099s from the affiliate networks, you'll have to make sure your taxes are in order, you'll have to make sure your web hosting is in check to host your tracking software, landing pages, etc.
