Somebody ask him about Course Maker, 1988 suit but no McLaren MP4/4, motorbikes and Spec II on this Reddit thingy.
Aston Martin VGT looks simply stunning.
I am on my phone, but pictures and official PR is out.
What an object of finesse.
Developed entirely in-house over a period of 6 months by the Design team at Aston Martin, led by Design Director Marek Reichman, the DP-100 not only looks beautiful, but it also boasts a high degree of engineering integrity. The twin-turbo V12 mid-engined racer offers up to 800 BHP, endowing it with blistering performance keeping true to the high octane nature of the game.
Nope. Hideous just like the others. Maybe even moreso.Aston Martin just embarrassed every other VGT
rear end looks like a hot mess so......
From that shot it looks like it has a wider track at the front, which would be a bit weird...
Aston Martin just embarrassed every other VGT
And Kaz is going to be doing an AMA at Reddit on the 27th. What the hell is going on?
Hi Yamauchi san. When will the GPS race maker be released ?
I think you're talking about the track maker, the Beta version is already working and in my hands now. When we can deliver it to users is still up in the air.

Oh wow, I thought that was you doing an impression of him being evasive. Didn't realise the AMA was already happening and that that was an actual evasive answer
On a side note, WTF is that site reddit, how are you supposed to read that?
It's tragic. So standards are there to stay in GT7 on PS4. How do you guys feel about it?
It's tragic.
It's amazing to see so many defending it in the main thread. It's nowhere near a deal breaker, but those who are defending it forfeit the right to complain when reviewers - and indeed probably players - complain about the inconsistency.

I expect a low 70's score on Metacritic, no way any reviewer will give it a pass with DC, Forza and Project Cars being the main competitors all having amazing car models. PD has really lost it with Kaz being a delusional dreamer rather than a capable manager.
PD already has double the amount of premium cars compared to pCars and DC combined...
They aren't anywhere near as detailed though.
They already are. It's just a matter of lighting, shaders, and materials at this point instead of the actual 3D models.
But do we know if all the premium models are available at this detail? Wouldn't suprise me if some of the (early produced) GT5 stuff isn't.
The level of precision weve achieved [in GT5] is actually more suited to the next generation of machines. The detail that goes into a premium model [has] gone beyond the level of the current PlayStation.

All of the GT5 models were scaled down to work within that engine's limits.

My thoughts exactly. When people say they won't buy Gt7 just because it will have standard cars even though there will be about 500+ premiums, it's absurd. The standard cars don't bother me. If GT7 has the same a.I and sounds then I will be annoyed.
The dream is dead Wax.
The Course Maker and B-Spec modes, which are still absent from the game, are coming in an imminent update.
Well, DC, Project Cars and Forza are already pushing it to the next level with engines and other internal components modelled, I doubt even premiums have this kinda detail in them.
Came here for the meltdowns... And you guys are actually behaving? Amazing
Just came up with a great idea for standards. PD should include all standard cars, and GT4 tracks up res them (as some are currently), and have a "retro" mode in GT7 where you can play GT4 content (tracks, cars, challenges, races, etc) with GT7 physics and performance. Thoughts?
The dream will never die. Course Maker is coming next month with GPS functionality to follow later this year with December's Spec
.
Some of these cars really deserve the premium treatment, but as long as they keep the standards around, it's unlikely that these classic or cult cars get updated.
GT6 had a couple of premiums that were standards before:My problem with standard cars and PD keeping them around is that there are some real classic cars in the standard car list that aren't available as premium car. Here's a radical idea: how about PD just don't put standards in the game in the first place, so then there can't even be a debate about laziness, inconsistency or being half finished...benzy said:It sounds good in theory but people will just ignore the main GT7 game and make far fetch claims like PD is lazy so they made a half finished game and decided to fill the other half with the full GT4 and all of it's contents, which I'm sure would cause a riot.

You should check the gaming discussion GT thread. :lol
Yeah, it's called GT6.Just came up with a great idea for standards. Yeah, it's called GT6.
Seriously, fuck Standards. I can't believe they're talking about that shit with GT7, too... using PS2 models on PS4 is fucking disgraceful.
I now have a different approach to modding GT6 available to use. The technique will only be available to CFW and will never work for OFW. (had to get that out of the way)
The disadvantage of these methods is the tool will have to be running the whole time you are using mods done by it. The advantage is almost anything you can think of becomes possible. Yes, including real engine swaps. Speaking of engine swaps I was wrong in thinking they shared the same ID as the body. They have separate IDs in the data base but the ID is still looked up using the body ID.
So far I can put any set of wheels from one car to any other ie: I put the 787b wheels on a RX8 as well as putting the tank car engine into the same car. The brake rotors stuck through the rims so I didn't take a picture.
But this is not limited to hybriding, there are also track mods, lobby mods, weather, etc.
I'm still blown away reading the GT7 standard car thread
Here's a radical idea: how about PD just don't put standards in the game in the first place, so then there can't even be a debate about laziness, inconsistency or being half finished...
Tomorrow, Mr. Yamauchi will be driving a special car, so I think I will try photographing this from the famous hill climb course.
Kazunori Yamauchi will participate in a Mercedes-Benz 300 SLS in the festival. This iconic sports car of the 1950s is a special version of the 300 SL Roadster, one of two copies worldwide, which have been developed specifically for participation in the American sports car championship. To its time to be victorious in this race, the standard roadster was modified according to the rules of art to SLS.
Mercedes Sauber and 2 Jaguars I think, a Le Mans and a road car.GT6 had a couple of premiums that were standards before:
Lamborghini Countach
Renault Alpine
Bentley Speed 8
Bugatti Veyron
Audi R8 LMS
Maybe more. Those are the ones I remember.
