You just described 90% of game - coop, hard raids, omega raids, proto bahamut - all have saturation point at which you just "close and forget" about them for a long period of time.
Nothing last forever, the point of most activities in game is to grab attention for some time, until you'll overgrow it and it'll become obsolete.
Hard raids becomes obsolete quite early if you have access to casino animas. Omega raid becomes obsolete the moment you get full grid in given Omega. Normal coop becomes obsolete the moment you finished it. Hard coop becomes obsolete when you grinded your mind out and earn zillions of rupees and blue crystals to last for a decade. Pandemonium becomes obsolete when you grab your replicas, creeds, fragments (here EX1-3 become obsolete), books and distinctions (here EX4 becomes obsolete).

If you look close - every activity has a clear end, that is not even that far if you concentrate on it and put some optimized strategy to achieve result.

Edit: Actually I am not sure why I even tried to explain that. Since you clearly acknowledged that you are aware of this already, so I am not sure why you even bothered to argue this.

It's exactly the same thing. It is you who want to put them separately and glorify some and despise others.
I play strictly "to win", so I tend to break-down, analyze and find optimal paths for progression. "Clicking on abilities during the fight" is not a core of activities, Coop completely different in structure and how-to approach to achieve maximum result from Omegas, and both are different from Casino or Events.

For example non-EX coop (rupee farming) is way close to Casino than to Omegas - the same concept of trading time in simple yet RNG style and tedious grind for all-important rewards, highly susceptible to automation. Rewards are very important for progression speed/efficiency, artificially limited and stretched out into the future, but you can farm required currency in advance in large numbers (it is quite important to spend 10k rupee on draws every day as it gives you +1, R skillup fodder and potions in number that close to Casino - 5 bronze moons will net you 30 1/2AP pots and you'll get those quite often from draws).

Basically GBF consists of 2 parts - one part is actual progression, and it includes Omega farm, EX coop farm, GW Charas etc. Second part provide resources to facilitate first part and allow those who grind this part do more in actual progression - it include Casino, non-EX Coop and some treasure trade farming.
Events participate in both as they provide both direct upgrades and resources in their gatcha/badges/honor pools.

I still haven't had a single SSR weapon or summon to drop yet :/ Really want to MLB the weapons. I'm drowning in the damn harps though.

For anyone wanting to finish up the Rage of Bahamut tie in rewards, you get double exp or something equivalent for 2 days. Got to lvl 40 in a day.

Is it worth it to farm the non star Angel Halo dungeons for rusted weapons? I know there's less drops but are the chances of getting the weapon the same? I MLB'd most other rusted weapons but I can't get the dagger to drop and often I just can't play when the star dungeon is open.

As far as I understand rusted weapons drops only from central mob on the last wave - one that always drop 1 chest (sometimes 2, but second always money), that can be either silver or gold.
Drop rate are low though. With SK10 Burner I got 2 rusted weapons on average for a session of full hour (~30 runs, 11 AP pots).
Bahamut is still best choice.

I just used a 10-draw ticket by mistake, thinking it was a normal ticket. I cried internally when the second weapon appeared.

I got Sophia out of it (I don't even have any other light SSR), but that was supposed to be for the summer gacha, damn it all!

how do you install on ios? found the app but i cant get it cause it's from a different country, do i need to make a jp apple account?

ok, finally got it to install.. now how do i use my existing ID? there's 2 option when i start the game, i chose both but it both starts a new game automatically..

Im inclined to believe that when you play on ios (like I do) that GB account is linked to the jp apple account. Because you can only buy GB coins for that account through the apple store. Also I have had no luck playing my GB account on anything other than my ipad. My android phone and PC wont let me access this account so yea those are my findings anyway.

This isn't the case for me.
I play mostly on my iphone on the go and at home I play on the chrome app.
I buy everything through my old nexus 7 though since google wallet is less of a pain than trying to buy things through chrome app or ios.
Did you make a mobage/dena account?

Do you use the app from the jp store or do you just play through the browser on your iphone? I have a mobage account and all the games I play with them show up in there, but I have no idea how to actually log in without following the direct link from my game (which is on my ipad). I have an email and password registered to the account but I actually have never found a place to enter it on the mobage site.

f-ing finally. This was after more than 200 raids. I don't even know if I wanna get the light fist cause I'm sure the drop rate for that is equally shit. I don't know if I have it in me for another long grind.

I have a bad feeling a lot aren't going to be mlb either of this weapons no matter how hard they try with these kind of drop rates.

Yeah I have to do the raids for the fist, but Im kind of losing motivation, plus Ive nearly exhasted my 100 1/2 elixirs just on getting to 200 raids :(

Definitely not going to grind through the raids for the next event, maybe the one after it if it is a dark event?
