So if the only characters I have are Rashid and Ryu I am pretty screwed?

Upon app boot up you get a screen with an airship. There is a button you press to log in with an existing account, and then it loads the game in your browser and gives you a prompt to link your account. You might have to reinstall the app since it sounds like you may have created an account the first time you started the app.

Thanks for your help. I've already done most of that, the only thing I've yet to do is survival. Mostly do to the fist user thing, and when it opens the page to show you fist users they show chibi forms instead of portraits which is annoying.

That's exactly the same that happened to me.
I simply reinstalled the game and then I saw a grey button that was in japanese but ended with "ID" at the first or second screen after starting granblue again and that's were I was able to enter my e-mail and password.
The thing is - I'm pretty sure it wasn't there before or maybe I really was too blind.

Edit: I tried to login through the browser first though I think, but I don't think that's a must since I still had to enter my e-mail and password when using the app.

You get Ryu + Rashid for free to use.

There is a summon fist weapon character in the event shop that is pretty cheap and only requires you to beat the special bosses, which don't require fist weapons.

Buy that, have roster, grind away.

Dark Fencer, then Sidewinder, then whatever you want.

Definitely Dark Fencer first. They make the raids and bosses way easier.

Really? I was worried he couldn't drop all the mats since one type I'd never got off him. Well awesome then, back to grinding. I'll just blow through half elixirs near the end if I get worried.

It's still all RNG, but yeah, they do. Out of my four runs until my energy ran out I got three gold materials just now.

Don't be afraid to burn some AP pots. And if you got an account from all the reroll accounts (or made one yourself) you should have a ton of moons. Spend some in the shop on 1/2 AP pots. They're a good deal and it'll push you through. Plus the five from the casino every day. That's 250 AP extra to burn.

Thanks for the advice! I wonder if either of the SFV hard battles are doable. I'll worry about that after grinding these out though. Should have my loyalty finished by then so I'll be able to sub in two better characters again as well.

In Ultra? Nothing but the crystals and chances for weapon drops from what I've sen. Seems like a total waste. I did it once for the crystals and never touched it again.

In V, you get points that you can spend on the event shop. It's way more fleshed out. You earn points beating opponents, and between fights you can spend the points for buffs on the remaining fights, like attack up, a full heal, bonus points, etc.

Survival seems way harder than the special bosses. I was sweating normal.

Do I have any shot at being able to do this?

My only character of note is Catherine. I maxed the tier 1 mage job and now am leveling Enhancer.
