If they don't do what they always did and go woke, it will be the ultimate reset point for the industry. It will be the end of wokeness if GTA6 turns woke and doesn't sell. Game will get a bad rep very quick. Of course it will still sell millions but it could be a starting point for big change.

You’re really using a broad brush there. I’m self-employed but register as a sole proprietor, I’m not a corporation.

Second, the vast majority of Americans are not employed by small businesses, they work for massive conglomerates. Conglomerates and private equity literally own almost every business in this country.

I’m not talking about punching up as in railing against the local coffee shop, I’m talking about punching up against corporations that make huge margins by paying people as little as possible and overworking them while pumping out low-quality product.

You think Rockstar isn’t making fun of corporations with Burgershot? And even that tech company they put in GTA5, there’s always more than enough room for that kind of satire instead of mocking individuals.

You used a broad brush fist. I was just specifying that “corporations are evil” is a lame statement.

Personally I don’t think corporations should exist no matter what size but I also don’t say they are all greedy and bad for society.

The problems you posted are not because of corporations but because of economic policy by the US government and trade agreements.

Most American are employed by corporations with 500 employees or less. Those are not large and probably not operating at the margins you are thinking.

Rockstar is usually attacking corporatism. But these days corporatism also means they support DEI and identity politics. So they are basically agreeing with the corporations by not attacking woke agendas.

Things have changed at Rockstar since GTA5 and even RDR2. They have to prove themselves all over as far as I’m concerned.
