Apologies, I wasn't asking as a 'gotcha' question, I was genuinely wondering if that is an actual tradeoff. I actually don't know because I stopped paying for Xbox's subscription service once they cut Games for Gold in favor of GP.

Im using the gamepass version too, its not difficult!
Just choose the ""gamelaunchhelper.exe" instead of the game.exe file for reshade inside the game folder and it works just as easy.

That's because gamepass versions have different executables. Sometimes they are behind in patches as well.

So there is some kind of tradeoff vs steam.

yeah, i realized that last night when i was trying to get the game to launch via steam so i could add the bypass parameter to the launch file, and steam would only let me add the game launcher file. I was able to launch reshade with it but it found no patches. I didnt realize until afterwards that i had added the reshade only to the main game exe.

Honestly, i despise the xbox app. I couldnt even access my save file for Marvel's Avengers and move it to the Steam version because microsoft dont believe in storing save files in the Documents Folder like everyone else. Never had any problems with Uplay or the EA app and everyone hates those.

They can say they are 2k, 4k or 8k. It doesn't matter when textures look low res.

The Order is one of those games that was always overhyped when it comes to gfx. How can I even see if graphics is good when IQ is dogshit? I just played it five minutes ago to remind myself how it looks...

It's only 1080p that's why and for a 1080p game it holds up way better than any other 1080p game on my 4k oled...

Yes it uses a lot of post processing but all this game needs is an up res and 60 fps to fix the iq, but Sony is a piece of shit company who can't be bothered to update old games for new hardware unless they see huge $$ from doing so.
