Really excited for this one. We're very close to Cronos. I'm not expecting a big technical leap, but it's clear they're trying some crispy things (really cool looking color palette and lighting). I can't wait to experience It.

Not everything is supposed to be photorealistic, different games have different art directions and styles. Its the fidelity that counts.i have only one problem with most of mgs delta models, they are too stylized, you can trick an old man thinking that this is a real picture of a woman

There is no fucking way you convince anyone those are real persons

They just look like very detailed videogame characters.
Who think the same?
Offtopic: Which one is better?
Hell is Us looks actually pretty good, performance is flawless on pc

Completely agree. The material work and lighting consistently looks great in MGS, but something about the characters seems very off, like a high resolution texture mod released by a fan being layered over low poly models.i have only one problem with most of mgs delta models, they are too stylized, you can trick an old man thinking that this is a real picture of a woman

It's like slimy said, they wanted to maintain the original style, it is just a pet peeve of mine because i like my models photorealistic usually and i would be curios to see a mgs with hyper realistic characters.Completely agree. I think I need this game... Physical version for PS5 Pro is tempting.
I think it's worth buying and support the developers. There's a lot of love and care in this game
Let's trust on Physint... Hopefully, that's for sure a PS6 game. It's like slimy said, they wanted to maintain the original style, it is just a pet peeve of mine because i like my models photorealistic usually and i would be curios to see a mgs with hyper realistic characters.
After ds2, i'm not sure i can buy another kojima game, no matter the graphic prowess.Let's trust on Physint... Hopefully, that's for sure a PS6 game.
Dont buy any of those, they both got only 16gigs of ram, for new demanding games u gonna need 32gigs, its a standard from few years back already.Offtopic: Which one is better?

Another thing is- u will likely be gpu bottleneckecked so cpu wont matter that much anyways, 5070ti in laptops is weaker from 5070 non ti in desktops:
Just for comparision so u can see how huge the gap is.

Indeed, but i assume if a guy is asking which lappy to buy, he likely wont have enough expertise to replace 16gigs ram into 32 gigs, if he is buying new lappy why not simply go with 32gigs of ram, no hustle, barely any price difference(under 50$, thats how cheap ram is nowadays).both of them can be user upgraded to 32GB if needed. I don't think that's an issue. also 16GB is still usually more than enough.
the bigger question is how high either of their GPUs can clock.
Dying Light The beast will be the first game to use Reflex 2 (if not a typo)
That's interesting
Can't wait to see how it looks and at what frametime.
Strategy games starting to catch up...
I too appreciate a good rock. Rocks > Water
After playing for four hours i am confident that it needed SH2 or Rebirth remake. The levels are the size of peas and the game has aged horribly in all other ways that dont include the updated visuals. This plays like a really ancient retro gameSome more Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater screenshots on PC in 4857*1920P Ultrawide with DLDSR, Reshade and RTX HDR:

Remove the hair tech they show off at every occasion and it looks crossgen af. Capcom dropping the ball and going the way of From soft this generation.Lol rumours are circulating that RE Requiem will have a ps4 version. Fans already making excuses that its different tech. Oh sweet summer children. Crossgen will never go away
Outside of the rt lighting, the actual assets and textures are pretty atrocious, even by late last gen standards. Even with the path tracing which normally enhances the assets or at least puts them in a flattering light, the assets and textures look like shit and stick out even worse, which normally doesn't happen, i.e indian jones, where path tracing saves a visually underwhelming game. Here though no amount of perfume is covering that stank of shit.Remove the hair tech they show off at every occasion and it looks crossgen af. Nah, Capcom is still a generation ahead of From despite the cross gen RE titles. Yes, monster hunter was a big fuck up, but Dragons Dogma 2 looked great thanks to their focus on RTGI, and Village looked a generation ahead of elden rings.Remove the hair tech they show off at every occasion and it looks crossgen af. RE9 has next gen lighting yes but the actual assets and textures are atrocious. The geometric detail, texture quality, and general asset fidelity is nowhere near nextgen standards and the pathtracing somehow makes the assets stick out like a sore thumb even worse unlike others like dragons dogma 2 and indiana jones. Pragmata is a nice surprise I agree.Nah, Capcom is still a generation ahead of From despite the cross gen RE titles. Both Re9 and Pragmata look next gen. Great lighting, Pragmata has excellent asset quality and materials.
I wouldnt put too much stock in downported last gen modes. Switch got ports for Witcher 3, Batman Arkham Knight, and mortal kombat 1. They looked like garbage.
Add Dying Light: The Beast, Borderlands 4 and Indiana Jones DLC for September...Silksong / Hell is Us / MGS delta / Cronos / Silent Hill f
Trying to go in that order for coming weeks/months but holy crap, deluge of games recently.

Agree that capcom is still better than from but Dogma didn't looked "great", it look noticeably worse than horizon an older, crossgen game.Nah, Capcom is still a generation ahead of From despite the cross gen RE titles. I am buying everything, with two cojones
Did you have time to finish MGS delta before Hell is Us?
assets looked fine to me. i am going to hold off on them until i see them on my screen. a lot of detail is lost on youtube especially in dark games like re9. village had great asset quality. they use megascans btw. i am not too concerned about it. if pragmata can have great assets i dont know why RE9 wouldnt. Pragmata assets just pop more because its set in a bright area.RE9 has next gen lighting yes but the actual assets and textures are atrocious. i liked the visuals better than horizon and DS2. the lighting was great to me. maybe its not as vibrant and in your face as HFW, but the lighting almost always felt right. The only thing missing is the nanite caliber asset quality.Agree that capcom is still better than from but Dogma didn't looked "great", it look noticeably worse than horizon an older, crossgen game.
Let's save that word for other titles, you have to inject path tracing on that game for it to look great.
It looked ok\decent.

lets wait till the open world sections which are presumably going to feature Leon, and set in daylight.

What i saw on stream just now doesn't look too hot imho.
The material properties don't look convincing.
The slimey things look... well.. not slimey and in general the environmental design does look mediocre so far.
I'd say it looks maybe like the RoboCop game.
Definitely looks worse than Calisto or the Dead Space Remake.
