The Touryst's engine doesn't use Voxels in any way.
the devs used a Voxel art tool (MagicaVoxel) to design the world, but converted these to normal polygon meshes when putting them into the game. the tool was mainly used because it made it easy for them to keep all the fake voxels the same size so that the artsytle looked consistent.
it also doesn't have "smoothing" for non-blocky environments, as it doesn't have "non-blocky" environments. its entire artstyle revolves around being blocky, there's not a single asset in this game that wasn't designed with said voxel art tool. the smoothest thing you'll find in the game are maybe 45° angles lol.
the game also has no destruction whatsoever, aside from the typical context based stuff you find in all games, like breaking a pot on Zelda... so there are no voxels in need of being smoothed/surfaced
once again, Grok being retarded... don't trust AI, EVER.
every time I see its answers for stuff I know a bit about, I see just how much nonsense it makes up out of nowhere. I bet there's not even remotely a source of that info on The Touryst, it completely hallucinated it.
and once you know it made 1 part of this up entirely, you have to throw out every other info it gave you essentially. it entirely hallucinated all the infos about The Touryst, so it probably did the same for many of the games (maybe all) on this list
