If you look at the blood in the wolverine trailer - it looks more advanced than any blood I've seen in a game
Day time could use some work in the lighting department, but the game is still a full year away. You usually don't get AAA trailers showing off so much gameplay and different locations so far out. I feel like Insomniac felt the pressure to show off as much as possible given the negative reaction to the leaks. I bet it looks better at launchReally like the lighting and asset quality here:

Shit's absolutely amazing, honestly they're almost there with their presumed Hellblade 2 target. Almost.I also really like the snow here. The skin shaders are great too. Big upgrade from the relatively plasticy look of the spiderman 2 skin shaders.

they are also targeting 60 fps with rt as the base mode. it will be interesting to see the resolution seeing as how virtually no one has been able to do RT at 1080p 60 fps on the base consoles. this is probably the fidelity mode that spiderman 2 had on the pro that added a couple more rt effects like rt shadows and AO.
You sure? Just the opening shot alone comes closer to the original TV spot CGI (not the "gameplay" 2018 one).

I personally wouldn't get my hopes up about base ps5 being able to do anything close to the lighting setup shown here at 60. If we're lucky they'll somehow miraculously find a way to keep RTGI. But even still I would bet the shadow quality was also a big reason why this trailer looked so good and if you drop that feature, it will not look so good imo.

As long as devs are willing to reduce resolution down below 1080p, you can run anything on base ps5.
remember the witcher 4 demo was also running hardware lumen (rtgi) at 800-1080p 60 fps.

I already clarified I was talking about facial animations. The skin shaders, hair, etc are all better in Wolverine, but I'll be honest; the character modelling in UC4 and Part II are more convincing in terms of realistic art design.
I don't think Wolverine looks bad, obviously it looks better than most AAAs. But I had WAY higher expectations for late gen wide-linear PS5 games.
We'll see what the gameplay is like in terms of scale, AI, enemy/NPC counts and destruction/interactivity, but I'm not expecting to be blown away.
I'm not sure I'm seeing what everyone else is seeing with Wolverine, it didn't impress me THAT much.
Maybe I need to watch the trailer a few more times.

It's step over retunal because of ue5 but clearly not on category of witcher 4,, hb2, OD and other high end ue5 titles maybe close to phantom blade zero graphics , also it's particles system is it's powerful point because their use their own tech for thatOk you people need to point out the impressive parts of soros because i'm not seeing them...
