Green Man Gaming Thread: Save some green, man

As an Aussie I don't know where to begin laughing at that statement. US tax here is generally game x2.

Edit: nothing personal, just find it funny

Umm I'm not sure what you mean...?

The game is $52 on GMG for Aussies, I'm wondering if it's cheaper in other parts of the world.

In hindsight I don't know either
I assumed you were elsewhere using a VPN to try and get best price or something. Should have realized you were in Australia.
TL;DR - I'm an idiot

Zombie Army is good if you're a fan of the original game I would say. If wave after wave of zombie hunting is your bag then its worth a pick up.

Pretty good in co-op too

Did anyone else not get their cash credit on Bioshock Infinite? I sent in a ticket a week ago and they said that all the money was being processed...a week later and still nothing.

Got mine last Wednesday after sending in a ticket. Seems like they're just going through them very slowly.

I sent a second ticket 9 days after their initial response of something to the effect of "you should be seeing it in a few days"

The only way to get Ubi games on Steam is to buy them directly thru Steam, unfortunately. Everything else is just Uplay.

Amazon is an exception. You can buy certain Ubi games of Steam DRM, Far Cry 3 included. Probably up in the air if they choose to keep expanding though.

Any vouchers usable on the $24.99 Dishonoured?

GAME is selling the game with the DLC except for the latest one for £16.99, which is about the same price

Dishonored Bundle

The Dishonored Bundle includes:

Dishonored
Dishonored: Dunwall City Trials
DLC Acrobat Assassin
DLC Arcane Assassin
DLC Backstreet Butcher Assassin
DLC Silent Assassin

Only if you have an Nvidia GPU.
Eh, I managed to get it running fine on my system... from memory, disabling Crossfire eliminates a lot of the problems. And the guy who did the original ENB has a DLL specifically made for ATI cards that fixes a bunch of problems. I haven't tried it without it, but it's still quite playable.

Definitely worth it for $5, no doubt.

Huh. I bought it before I started reading about the problems with ATi cards. It seems to be running just fine on my 7950, though...

So, about a week ago, GMG had a sale on Dark Souls for PC. It was $19 and with a coupon, it came to $16. But, when I tried to check out, their site failed and gave me an error. I sent in a support ticket. Four days later (sort of important how long it took them to reply), they said, "I am sorry to hear about the issues you have had with making payments on our site. I have made some amendments to your account so can you please try to make this purchase again." I was like, sweet, now I can get the game. Go to check out...$40 for the game. I replied to the support ticket saying that it was their error that caused me to not get the game for $16 and that I believe they should honor the sale's price. They replied, "Unfortunately, the promotional period for this particular deal has ended, and we are unable to extend it any further then the agreed date with the publishers. We apologize for any inconvenience caused." Indeed it has ended, since you took ten days to give me this information. I think it is ridiculous that they are not honoring the sale's price when it was their system that errored.

Thats messed up. I think some GMG are on this site, so hopefully they see this.

Same thing happened to me with them before too. They told me usually the issue is your credit card declining their transactions because they think it's a gambling website. Not sure if that applies to your situation though.

I love GMG, but that's bullshit. They should totally honor their sale in your case.

they should at least give you a coupon for that error. You should try posting this in their FB.

Do you have a link to that .dll? Would really appreciate it!

Just bought the 2013 Tomb Raider since it is 50% off, not sure if anyone mentioned it yet?

Really considering it. I have Anniversary and Underworld already on 360...but kind of want to future proof them so I can play them anytime I want on PC. Anyone know if all the TR games in the sale support a controller?
