Berlin, October 12, 2023 – September was a month of game blockbusters. Five new titles make it into the official game charts for September. The first place among the best-selling PC and console games in Germany is taken by the football simulation “EA SPORTS FC 24” (Electronic Arts), which appears for the first time under the new name of the game series and was published on the penultimate day of September. In second place is the epic space adventure “Starfield” (Bethesda Softworks), which was also released in September. Another new release in the top 3: the racing game “The Crew Motorfest” (Ubisoft). The latest title in the “Payday” series “Payday 3” (Deep Silver) and the reboot of the “Mortal Kombat” fighting game series “Mortal Kombat 1” (Warner Bros. Interactive) , both released in mid-September, rise to number 5 or number 8 in the charts.
