GTA IV: The Lost and Damned - Hands-On Previews Out Today

Does the storage required image have a memory card? Because I'm pretty sure this DLC will be too big for any memory card. They need to update the icon to just be harddrive required.

The first day is downloading since I'm expecting the servers to disintegrate immediately upon release, the next 3 days are the DLC, the rest is playing it again. When GTA 4 came out I did almost literally nothing else for the whole week. 10 hour sessions at a time. I fucking love this game.
Haha I did the exact same thing. Went to my parents' with my console and my monitor, shut down communications, sat down and played the game until the story was through.

Oh man. I'm going to try to send my wife on a week of spa when this game comes out, I need to devote my full attention to it. Can't wait.

Screw the hate for this game.

Well, to be clear, there were people who were disappointed...and that's alright, the previous titles set a high standard. But yeah, those who hate it are nothing but whiney ass fanboys.

Ditto. But then I got burnt out from GTA and have played little since. I was meaning to go for all the Achievements after passing it, but again, I was burnt out.

People were disappointed because reviewers hyped the game. Rockstar just released trailers. You can't fault them because some shitty website claims the game has an 'oscar worthy story'. Granted, the game had its problems. I liked GTA IV, it was good, but not great. I played it for around 25 hours, and was done with it after that.

I hope this is the new way of doing GTA games. I would love for them to just keep adding to liberty city and not release the next full GTA game until 2011 or so. They could release 3 or 4 packs like this and it would be cost effective and awesome.

Also, looks like I'll have to rebuy the game to play this.

I enjoyed GTA4 a lot, but a lot of it was built-up anticipation because I kept expecting a big payoff. I kept pushing myself, expecting some cool bonuses and secrets, which never came to pass.

Because LCS and VCS don't already exist.

New episode of `Grand Theft Auto' adds new music
By NEKESA MUMBI MOODY – 16 hours ago

NEW YORK (AP) — When "Grand Theft Auto IV" debuts another downloadable episode later this month, there'll be not only new story lines and characters, but also new music for the ride.

Busta Rhymes, Funkmaster Flex and others have been added to music stations on the radio dial in "The Lost and the Damned," an episode that features hours of new content for the popular video game, which released the fourth part of its series to great fanfare — and sales — last year.

Rhymes is also debuting a new song, "Conglomerate," exclusively for "Grand Theft Auto."

Music supervisor Ivan Pavlovich said the featured songs are a key component of "Grand Theft Auto," so they updated five of the radio stations in the game, including a hip-hop station and rock stations.

"Unlike movies, where you have a particular song that goes with a particular scene, what we do with the stations is really kind of allow each player to individualize how they want to play the game and how they set the tone," he said.

To that end, they've enlisted DJ Funkmaster Flex to make a show for the game's fictional Liberty City, which sits right outside of a New York-type metropolis. Rhymes' music is not only featured on the Flex channel, he also is interviewed by Flex.

The station also gives the rapper a chance to promote his upcoming CD and music, and fans can purchase songs they tag during play later on iTunes.

"It kind of shows the reach of video games to influence people to buy music," said Pavlovich. "That's why it's important for people like Busta, when they have new material. He is pushing an album in this. ... That's part of the whole thing that we do that's really important to us, is turning people on to new music. "

The new episode of "Grand Theft Auto IV" will be available on Xbox Feb. 17.

same day...

....believe

That's what I hope. It just doesn't make financial sense to limit it to just one platform.

I've recently gotten back into GTAIV on PC and am enjoying more now than I did on PS3 ('cept the performance of course). The theme and story in the DLC has me more hyped and interested than the main story ever did.

Just finished GTA IV for a second time. That game is much better if you just hang-up the phone on everyone. :lol

"yo man this is Dwayne. did you tr..." fuck off. :lol
