Why is Steam pre-loading so terrible? Its never once worked for me.

Unfortunately the myth is real

download speeds on the 353MB patch are wildly all over the place, fluctuating between 20KB and 200KB with spikes to 1MB.

Gonna take at least 30mins maybe longer...


EDIT: speeds are skyrocketing to a stable 459KB for me now! Just 15mins more!

All control types can be used interchangeably. For instance you can use mouse and keyboard for on-foot, then switch to a Xbox 360 controller at any time without having to change any options.

This is good to have, thinking of using KB + M on foot with a controller for vehicles, makes sense to me at any rate.
