Then again, the Hunger Games seem to do pretty well. Maybe we'll see more strong females once more!

There aren't really many worthwhile choices for a female-led cosmic film.

There are definitely more female Guardians they can bring in for future films though, like the aforementioned and Mantis.
I would bet a female led MCU film will be Avengers related rather than cosmic.

Phyla is Captain Marvel.
Like I said, she's the only one I could see having a standalone movie in the Cosmic Universe...and I am kinda iffy on that tbh. She works better within the ensemble of GotG.
There are plenty of Earth-based female heroes to choose from to lead a film. Cosmic just really doesn't have good options.

Well, Dark Knight was the perfect tone, Dark Knight Rises couldn't figure out the right tone.
I'm sure after Lucy (which looks pretty dang good), the prospect of a Black Widow movie will be alot more likely to work. Scarjo IMO is the new Angelina, as in the only american actress that can carry an action film on her own atm. That Hawkguy in a supporting role would help too. It should be the MCU movie that takes us to Madripoor.

Rhomann Dey directly transferred his Nova force to Richard Ryder, the Worldmind had nothing to do with his selection and didn't exist in the Marvel universe when Nova had his Origin.
The character goes back almost 40 years, the Abnett and Lanning stuff was not his origin.

That's Nebula handing him his weapon, you can see her here too (likely directly after in the same scene):
So cool to think that this could be the scene where we (technically) get to see Thanos for the first time! :O

Marvel wouldn't deal with Tony's alcoholism on film in a mature way. They're not gonna deal with a lesbian couple. It would be nice, but they don't have the balls.
Also, Super is terrible.
Eh, that's a cop out. As much as I like these movies for their character treatment, the only one so far that comes close to dealing with anything substantive is Winter Soldier. Iron Man 2 was a wasted opportunity.

I seriously doubt it will even gross half of that, but it doesn't need to.
Once it passes $350k we will see a sequel for sure.
I'd bet that if it crosses $500k we might even get a spin off too.
I rather have a trilogy of GoTG than Avengers, but if we get both trilogies that complement each other that could be amazing.
Now I just need to know where to buy this comic books close to where I live, I still havent be able to buy the Thor ones

I'd honestly rather see more Cosmic stuff than Earth stuff at this point. Maybe if GotG is a huge success we'll see more, or at least as much as Marvel Studios can give us without the FF license.
