There is a VP debate and a treasure trove of fresh Trump shit to dissect. This story isn't lasting a cycle. Hell, it won't last past this evening.

Are you that fucking dense? The context the documents were presented in (tweet, folder structure, source of hacks) is forged aka the possibly newsworthy part. It would be as relevant as putting the real Lorem Ipsum in all folders.

They were correct. There was no hack of the Clinton Foundation. There was no folder called "Pay to Play" on any server and seeing one should've been a big red flag to anyone. And it was... expect maybe Politico. The documents were purposely presented to look like something else. That is the fake.

None of those mention the foundation. I brought that up after B-dubs who i'll give credit where is absolutely due, made that distinction.

Yeah, outside of Politico (which isn't even displaying the story prominently on their webpage) and some right-wing outlets...who is even talking about it? The story was debunked before it even started.

The title of the thread is literally Clinton foundation files and people saying the leak is fake which it is. Not sure how it could be any clearer.

So if I hack some dude named Trump and find out he's done porn and put it in a folder called \TrumpPorn and send it to Politico and they publish is as "alleged" Donald Trump porn then technically the leak isn't fake?

Hopefully this stuff gets the Democrats to beef up their security.

edit: r/the_donald going crazy lol. I love checking that subreddit to see their reactions. I really hope it's just a bunch of teenagers dicking around, because if it's anything more than that, I fear for their futures full of conspiracy theories.

Yeah this is just red meat for the usual conspiracy theory nutters it doesn't take much for them to get stirred up. Real or not it's done so that these unhinged people continue the narrative going on their facebooks etc essentially accomplishing exactly what the Russians want a devided America between those who live in reality those who don't and the confused middle of the road electorate who can't tell what's real or not anymore.

Persecution complex? Disbelief is a healthy place to start when someone claims to have hacked the Clinton foundation and posts a directory entitled 'pay to play' yet stops short of showing anything inside that folder. I don't know why you're so quick to call out others who were skeptical.
