No password. You have to enter a username and that's it.

I was getting the error so I restarted it and did all the configuration and certifcate thing again and it fixed it.
You can still hang out and listen to Kayos yell about things.

Actually no it isn't. People tend to relate rangers as ranged class in games, but that's not their real definition. There's quite a few well known rangers in fantasy that don't rely on ranged weaponry (drizzt, Aragorn). That said... ranger has access to melee options that are just as good as any other class, why should they then get a range option thats better than all classes?

New to Guild Wars 2 beta, hope to play with friendly people during beta/live. Does GAF have a specific group to play with? I haven't kept up with this thread since last BWE.

There's been various beta key giveaways on different sites. I am not sure which ones are still running the giveaways.
There have been a few giveaways the past couple of days, but since we're only 20 hours away, I don't think there are many keys left. Some people might still have extra, and the best way for you to get a key is ask on NeoGAF as well as follow the arenanet twitter and wait till they do another giveaway.
They have also given out a bunch of Beta keys if you know where to look. I ended up grabbing a spare, but it looks like I couldn't convince my friend to play. You want the key?
Sure, but only if you can't find another Gaffer that is/was down on their luck and unable to get a key. Id hate to waltz in and possibly take a key from someone who has been entering all the contests and just had bad luck. But I would definitely love to play though

Well I wasn't planning on making a big deal about finding the most worthy recipient. I just don't want it to go to waste so I was going to give it to the first person who asked. Anyway, I figure its better to give it to someone on the fence who just might become a new convert. I'll PM the code as soon as I dig it up.

I was hoping they'd have a gem shop item that would let you change your character, but I guess I'll use this final beta to figure out what I want each of my characters to look like, just in case they don't.

Be sure you take screenshots of your settings so you can do them quickly at launch.
