Arc showing Capcom how it´s done! Looks gorgeous.

To be fair, MvC3 had it's own style and looks awesome. But yeah, this is awesome. So glad they went with 3D, this will make for a more flexible product. This is how I want the next SF (Alpha) to look.

Well, someone mentioned in the old BBCP thread that BBCP wouldn't be the last game.

I wouldn't mind seeing the next Blazblue game in this style.

I think in BB's case, they'll probably use the same sprite set until they really need to change over. After all, they just went through the trouble of redrawing a lot of stuff for CP, so that would be a lot of time and money gone to waste! :lol

MvC3 was an improvement over SFIV, but still not something I would change for the first MVsC sprites. This is exactly what I want, something that looks like the sprites.

Sol's model looks like it was made by the guys who made SSF2HDR and a lot of people hated those. i'm surprised the reception is so positive with this game.

Saw the trailer. Heard the music.

I think what Arc System is trying to tell Capcom is "There's nothing wrong with Indestructible".

I like how the Japanese Devs know how to milk the western made engines (like in Azura Wrath and Catherine), there still a lot of talent in the Japanese Industry

Very impressive visually.

Its time for that japanese person on your avatar to show something to the world, its been a while since his last action game, or is devils third shovelware?

Anyway do people really want another guilty gear, knowing that blazblue is the new thing. I hope that the music will be as good as guilty gear x and xx, thats the peak of daisuke.

Blazblue is just something people play because there's no new guilty gear.

Is it weird that I find GG really accessible and BlazBlu nigh impossible

Well not sure about the extremity of BB's accessibility but all my more gamer friends got into GG almost instantly and we forced ourselves into several BB sessions when it came out but while starting GG felt like you could play more freeform, BB feels far more reliant on combos or you do shit damage with some characters.

I thought BlazBlue was a lot easier to get into than Guilty Gear, and I got into BB first. After I played Guilty for the first time, I found it really hard to go back and I eventually quit BB not long after CS2.

Guilty just feels better to me, I like the pace of its gameplay a lot more and I think the characters are more interesting. I know BBCP is supposed to play faster than the previous games, but the footage didn't seem much different to me. I just lot interest I guess.

Yeah that's what I hear too, that CP changed things, but BB felt so slow and clunky to me coming from GG, I can't imagine it had such a huge revamp without upsetting fans.

We've come quite a ways from the original prototype GG.

I must say, the whole Unreal thing has me mad about Injustice. I like how it plays, but it is the most un comic book looking comic book game ever made, and it's really disappointing.

this looks incredible. the way they maintained all the frames in 3d is just amazing. if SSF4 looked like this i woulda shat myself. im a bit sad if they're done with sprites tho :{ i would like to see handrawn techniques keep improving and evolving.

Wasn't happening at ArcSys anyways

I dislike Guilty Gear and play BlazBlue. Lots of other people do too. Can this silliness stop?

Um, Blazblue was just the The Replacements team to cover up for the original. The game did a great job and is now a worthy series of games to be played on its own (can't wait for BBCP), but now the king has come back.

2D > 3D, always (for me), but this generation made me like 3D visuals on 2D fighters enough. In my eyes SSFIV and MvC3 are fantastic looking games, I legit didn't miss 2D art in any of them. Sadly, when I compare them to KOFXIII... yeah, I think KOFXIII is one of the best looking games ever made.

What kind of black magic artistry is going on here? I know I'm late in a sea of 20 pages of people saying the same thing but gat dang.

This is what I always thought Street Fighter IV should've ended up like.

This is just perfect.

Day 1. Thank you based ArcSys.

I am curious about this. Plus for being out for months, can't find much on the arcade board itself. I imagine if they used it for their least release they may continue using it though.

Only info I could find on Ringedge 2 was from a Facebook post:

That very much sounds like it is built to run next-gen titles.

Not sure what legitimacy is of the spec info, but it mentions Unreal 3 and 4, so sounds plausible.

Yeah, Sega has the system spec's of Ring Edge 2 under lock and key. There's barely any information on the actual specs of the system.

Wait, I remembered something while watching the trailer yet again... didn't Eddie leave Zato's body at the end of Guilty Gear XX? Did Eddie successful take over Millia's body and have her become his host, or does Eddie still use Zato's body, or... what?!

I think everyone is overlooking the fact that this marks the return of ass-kicking OSTs by Daisuke Ishiwatari. Fuck BBs synthesizers.
