Looks like they threw in enough suits in this one to keep Bandai busy making HGBF kits until season 2.
If they do continue it I kinda hope we get a full season of Sei mastering his skill before meeting Reiji again in a third season.
Will be sad until it comes back.. if it comes back. Only have the build fighter amazing Yuuki manga to look forward to now. So at least it is continuing in some way now that the anime is over.

Man that was a good ending and i am sad to see the show go .
This has been one of the best gundam series i have ever seen and to think i was going to skip it .
Last ep was full fan service and great moments really hope they do a season 2.

Man, I don't think this show had any deep meaning or anything borderbreaking, but the show ended and I feel so sad to see it go. Like, not the plot making you sad, or the story, but the show itself leaving made me sad. It was just so good. And made you feel good watching it. Thank you Gundam Build Fighters, it was wonderful.

Just found out that the spacial edition of that set includes a pretty interesting looking Gunpla.
Maybe they showed up as one of the mocks? We did see a Turn A Mock after all. It even includes the unique core fighter.

I'm really going to miss this Monday ritual of GBF. I'm so glad I was able to experience this show as the season aired. Thank you writers/producers/etc for all of it; the fan service, the cameos (few that I understood), the fun, the battles, animation, music - you captured another soul into your lifelong Gundam fanboy ranks.
Anyway, after having only watched SEED/Destiny years ago I started getting into the Gundam Universe late 2013 with 00, 00S2, and GGFR so I'm super happy I stumbled across Gundaminfo when I did, otherwise I would have probably missed out on this fabulous show. Those of you regulars in the other Gundam thread, you might see me making my way through old series after old series so I apologize in advance for whatever that may bring :>

I don't care if we get a second season or not; the show was lighthearted and fun and I would hate to see the producers rush into it. Maybe an OVA or bonus episode or something where we get to see a little more of Reiji and his world? A dues ex machina character of his caliber deserves a little more than the bit they showed us at the end.

But SEED wasn't good to begin with.
No, it's just that Ral with his Gouf R-35 and Chinan with his Master Gundam stole the show from the stars in less than 2 minutes.
Really, those two were just awesome. Chinan could have used Darkness finger or Sekiha Tenkyoken instead of the kick (forgot its name) to complete the Super Choukyuu Haou Den'eidan and it would have still been one the episode's most hype moments.

I think it has a good chance of showing up down the line, especially considering it's the single truly original mobile suit to show up in this anime.

The way I saw it was like adults and kids playing magic/ yugioh, pokemon tcg, etc. Kids having fun, learning combos and thinking they're hot shit, then the adults come in with their fully decked kits and knowing all the ins and outs of the game annihilating everything.
Heh. No wonder those two don't show up for tournies. I mean their presence alone caused the mock suits to blow up, no one can stand a chance against them.
Well as true as that maybe to some people, SEED is bigger then Build Fighters will ever hope to be, and that wasn't enough to ensure a quality follow up for people that loved it.
Build Fighters as good as some think it is (I feel about it as you do SEED) could easily suffer a Destiny like fate if they just decided to rush out a follow up/second season because it showed some popularity.

Build Fighters has done well, but nothing I've seen suggests it's come any where near the levels SEED reached. Build Fighters has been a great way to rebound after the awful AGE, but SEED was and is the biggest thing to come out of Gundam since Zeta Gundam. Build Fighters even plays on this by having the lead be the Strike Gundam.
Plus I just hope there isn't a second season, the show could be fun but it wasn't anything that I overly enjoyed and relied way to heavily on Nostalgia to get people into at every turn be it for recent stuff like Strike or Exia or playing on older fans from Wing and G. I rather a new series come out and be fresh and try new things with a brand new cast of mechs and characters.

i have no reason to look forward to monday mornings anymore =( or thursday/friday evenings(kill la kill). i do still have saturday evenings for ace of the diamond, but it's not the same. *sigh* what makes me even more bummed out is that chinan kick is totally something you would see in a SRW game, but those hardly ever come out over here anymore in the states officially which sucks. *sigh and then sad face* if you need me, i'll be huddled in the corner over there feeling sad and bummed out.

We do have a new series coming out though. G Recogusta, or whatever. lol And I hear ya, but you know how Bandai works. Revisting series is all they do. New animated UC material coming out left and right, Wing novels. etc.

Yep as much as some people don't want to admit it SEED was huge .
Everything for it sold good or great music , dvds , certain kits etc etc i think the blu ray sets that came did okay to if i remember right .
Either way i would like a second season because the last few gundam TV shows i really dislike , don't have to be soon but a few years from now .
I loved SEED. I love SEED and will defend it to the death.
Destiny, however, I fucking hate. Screw that mid-series' protagonist switcheroo.
Man I don't even have words for it. I'm still trying to process how amazing that was. I mean, Ral and Master and the Master-Gouf team up, the Exia Repair and the OG Gundam decked out with the G-Parts. The team ups. Sei and Reiji's final build knuckle. Reiji letting Sei take over the controls for him. Aila sneaking off to Arian. Ms. Baker doing the same.
Man, if Bandai doesn't put this in an upcoming Super Robot Wars game, I'm just gonna be so sad. This is the best Gundam show in decades.

SEED was fine, the hate train really came to be once Destiny came out. It's the back the future gif where the sequel went back in time and somehow ruined the original for everyone.
No one said it wasn't big. Just that the plot is a mess, and a mess of been there done that with every series before it. From the Colony vs Earth group, to Newtypes = Coordinators, to the Mobile Suits themselves (hello Shining Finger Destiny).
It was definitely a success for them. But being the most sold/bought doesn't make it good. Just easy to market.
I believe this is more up to Banpresto and the writing team on what they want to use and less Bandai telling them what to use.
Might be a while though, we just got stuff like SD Gundams and stuff for the first time in one of the off shots and we still haven't had that kinda stuff in a mainline game. Given we are just now getting OO Awakening in a main line game, and we still haven't seen or heard about AGE I imagine we have 5-10 years wait before we see Build Fighters.
Well unless they do another spin off game then, I could see it sooner.
I don't think they're doing AGE period. But yeah, I can see it being 5 years, which blows. Cuz I need a SRW version of this so baaaaad.

AGE will happen. They may not have the rights to show it on this channel right now, but Bandai most certainly has the rights to it, and they will eventually use it just as Maxi Boost is doing now.
They've used every animated Gundam and several that aren't, AGE will happen its extremely likely it will be a lot sooner then we see Build Fighters.
There are those on Gaf who's favorite is AGE, so your covered. Also Wing is popular whether it's not on Gaf so laughing at you would be pointless.

No, the world is too good a place for AGE to ever get that kind of time. Besides, how do you fit that show in when Flit's entire life takes up the whole plot? Like, SRW does time skips but not 40 year ones.
