She told you she was getting hit on (more likely casual flirting) to make you jealous. She won't let you talk to your roommate because she is jealous. You treated your roommate like crap because you're being a Patsy.
You need to genuinely build some confidence and break all ties off with this girl. She is toxic and you're not emotionally mature enough to see it.
And you owe your roommate a very sincere apology

There's something wrong with him if:
A. He's recognizing that her behavior is unusual
B. He has at least 20 different people telling him that yes, that behavior is problematic and he needs to get out

You know OP, even I, someone who's clueless about relationships can see that you've made a series of incredibly bad decisions. This relationship you have with your "girlfriend" sounds extremely unhealthy. You need to stop this ASAP.

The first page has the last major update that the OP made edited on to it. Basically his GF has gone ghost on him and it's frustrating for him because he wants to know why she would do him like that. He doesn't want her to pop up again saying she wants to be together and he's already with someone new, then he'll feel bad because things weren't "officially" ended.

When I started reading I thought "well it surely can't get worse, there's no way OP will fall even deeper than this" and then i immediately got proven wrong, and it got worse and worse.
