Halo 2 Rumor- New Year's Gift from Bungie?

The Needler rocks when you are dual wielding. I use the magnum and the needler all the time. Super deadly combo.

Seriously, my biggest gripe gameplay wise is the Plasma Pistol. If a charged shot is going to drop your shields, then it shouldn't track you. If it's going to track you, then it shouldn't drop your whole shield.

The Plasma pistol is broken in Halo 2. It was more fun in Halo 1. Quit your crying about the tracking. You can still avoid it and even with your shields down, you still have some life left.

Halo 2 grenades are kind weak against the Convenant and I miss the night vision with the sniper rifle from Halo 1 as well. :/

I agree on all counts.

The needler owns (Brutes). That's stupid about the shotgun not be as effective. More force to a smaller area would be more concentrated damage that should penetrate a shield and kill you. But its nice being shot and surviving to aim your shotgun blast at their head and kill them right up close or a few feet away.

UT2k4 4 life!

English 4 life.

Oh? Here's more for you to agree on!

The Scorpion tank and Banshee (sans boost) are too slow!

I would also complain about the scorpion's cannon and its lack some power, but that's probably to give some chances for anyone piloting the Wraith. I'll let that one slide.

The needler is a better standalone weapon in Halo 1 than in Halo 2 (where are my explosions?). The Needler only works in Halo 2 if you dual wield.

i dunno, i have a very hard time avoiding a charged plasma bolt... unless i have a corner to turn, or an object to run behind, i'm almost always nailed by it. same goes for guys i go up against... it rarely misses.

got any tips?
