Still kind of keeping my fingers crossed for a Halo 3 Anniversary this year, but I doubt we'll get it.

Can i get some bots in my halo mp? Drivatar style bots that mimic the playstyle and performance of real players.

It's probably difficult to do, but worth doing. It would be sweet if these bots could replace players who quit/disconnect from matches for example.

It would be a cool way to warm up before jumping into ranked, or to pass time while waiting for your lobby to fill with real players.

Also it would be cool to have AI in forge

Well I mean, 343 did say Betas from here out, and Crackdown is coming out this year (allegedly)...
It really makes too much sense.

Us talking about it won't make it happen... but people are just pointing out obvious opportunities

Halo 6 will have an in game demo at E3. It'll be a little tease like what they did with Gears 4 in 2015 but this time they can have Halo 6 on Scorpio tech.

The beta won't be tied to any game. Halo 5 owners will probably get like a week head start but the beta will be open to everyone.

Hopefully they have more than one beta. One for Arena to test basic gameplay and features and one for Warzone 2.0 to test server load and vehicle balance.

I think it's too early for Scorpio footage of Halo 6, or any footage. Halo 5 Scorpio patch with 4-player splitscreen Arena and 2-player campaign and Warzone? Maybe.

XB1 games shipping this year are different for us. not Halo FPS/Gears led, new experiences with different IP, will be fun year

It would be cool if they did a bit of a throwback and announce that Crackdown 3 comes with a code for early Halo 6 beta in the fall/winter

Halo 4 was announced at E3 2011. Released in late 2012.

Halo 5 was teased at E3 2013 and formally announced just before E3 2014. Released in late 2015.

It's likely that Microsoft will announce or tease something Halo this E3, even if it isn't coming out this year.

Calling it now, Halo 6 teaser's gonna be basically the same as the Halo 3 announcement trailer, but with the Chief/Cortana roles reversed and that Halo from the legendary ending instead of the Ark.

Yeah, I could definitely see them putting on a show, but I do think it'll basically be: CG trailer and a beta announcement, probably a public beta in early 2018 with early access by buying Crackdown. Doubt we'll get any actual gameplay, they'll save that for closer to the beta.

I'm a halo and forza Stan. As long as Xbox keeps making them, I'll keep buying their products. It's about all I play.

Though dirt rally/4 and pcars2 should be incredible

I enjoyed it. The graphics are still some of the best this generation and the gameplay was pretty fun too. Would have preferred a traditional Fable, but I think most people would have.

That's why they lead with CGI. Early gameplay gets graded on the same curve as final gameplay, so why put it out there to draw unnecessary fire?

As for the movie comparison, games get polished waaaaay later in the process than film.

I loved Fable Legends. I definitely wanted a proper Fable IV too, but I didn't see Legends as interfering with that (until they shut down Lionhead, that is.)

As for CGI, I still appreciate the Halo 3 trailer. Even if it's equivalent of bullshots, I like having something that gives you an indication of the final visuals.

CGI trailers seem like a waste of time and money to me. I can't get excited about videos that end up having nothing to do with the game.

Damn man, it's personal preference ...has nothing to do with cynicism at all.

that type of marketing does nothing for me since history shows us that cgi teasers often have little to do with the game.

I'm into the games. That's what gets me hype.

This in-engine teaser, sets the stage, fuels speculation, and builds hype- and it's much better because you know the assets you've seen actually exist.

We're probably gonna be getting a beta by early next year. I could see them having a small chunk of campaign polished enough for public consumption.

That said I do think you're right that it'll be CGI. Include a beta announcement with gameplay promised for the Game Awards.
