If the rest of SpOps season 1 is as good as Episode 3 was, then this was a good trade for Firefight. It would be better if we also got scoring and some kind of limited/one life mode, but Episode 3 at least proves the mode's potential.

I like this game, but it has a handful of crippling issues.

This is where we differ. I believe that Reach had a handful of issues that ruined the experience. Soured it completely. Made it unfun. I believe that Halo 4 has more problems than Reach, but that all those problems combined do not make the game unfun.

Completely axing Promethean Vision, Active Camo, Global Ordnance (and adding in classic weapon spawns) and flinching would instantly make it one of the best Halo games.

Better playlist selection, adding the option to disallow JiP when searching, and patching back in classic features would earn 343 the title of best Halo developer.

Seconded. Two weeks in we've seen a few fixes, there are likely to be more. Hopefully 343 are looking at player data and seeing proof that certain things are overpowered, underpowered, or annoying.
