Anyone up for some customs? Been wanting to try out some stuff I've been working on. I know it's probably still janky, but it'd help to know as much as possible.
Add DI Exero if interested.
Playing some matchmaking as of now.

Yep, had the same thing happen. My code worked but I grabbed one for my co-op buddy and it gave him that message. Even when he used the link directly.
Not sure I understand what you're saying. 'it gave him that message' - what did? The Safe Haven page, or the redeem code screen on XBL?

If you put in his gamertag, and then HE tried to put in his gamertag, it should tell him that the tag's already got a code, and show it to him. If you mean that he tried to put the code you got for him in at XBL's 'Redeem Code' screen, and it said that that code was already used... that's totally different.

Help?

I put in his gamertag, and sent him the code. When he tried to redeem it on the xbox it told him the code was already used. So thinking you might have limited it on a cookie basis I sent him the direct link to enter his gamertag, and he did but it brought back the same (already redeemed) code.

Sorry for being unclear ;P

Okay, it looks like there were 30 already-used codes in the batch - all have been taken, so as soon as I have replacements, I'll be shooting them out to the folks who need them. Any you get from here on out should work. :)

Theres only 3 people ever mentioned in the chat. YSG, Sig and Cosmo. People kept mentioning how ugly cosmo was, some posts were just comedy.

The super meat boy run was pretty impressive. Never even seen that game before, let alone being run.
YSG is the stuff of legends. And while not his absolute best, with the new strats/glitches he showed off, I'm confident Breakdown can hit 1:40 on meat boy. Best part of that run though was Team Meat commentating via Skype. They gave tons of insight and trivia about the game's design and their dev process.

Every time he did something impressive, the room claps, then like 10 seconds later, on Skype you hear "Shit!" or "the fuck?" or "well that would have been nice to know, lol". Good times.

And if you don't have the game already, get it! Sooooo much fun.
 
So the shotgun can detonate explosives too? Because one dude explode my rocket killing me in the process.
Well, logically, if the blast killed you and he shot the rocket with a shotgun, you were probably susceptible to dying from the splash on a direct hit anyway. Lag would be my guess, but you should submit to Halo mythbusters.
 
I don't like that you can detonate explosives just by shooting them. Dumb mechanic; Halo 4 has far too much randomness as it is without having someone shoot the grenade out of my hand and kill me with a lucky shot.

Yes. Maybe I was too harsh and I should apologize which I will do: I am sorry for being an asshole, Toa TAK.

But at the end I fear that he could end like Zoojoo who started kinda normal and then became the annoyance in this thread.

Dang! You have my attention, what's your favorite Halo game? I see a lot of talk about what's wrong with previous games, but it's like no one likes any of them.
My ranking is: Halo: CE > Halo 3: ODST > Halo 3 > Halo 4 > Halo 2 > Halo: Reach > Halo Wars.

Halo: CE will always capture me. I love the Installation, I love the missions, I love the Forerunner structures. I like ODST because it is different and still feels like a Halo game. And I do love Engineers. Engineers are awesome! Halo 3 had the best campaign encounters. I love the majority of the levels but I dislike how the story is told. But the terminals are incredible!

Halo 4 and Halo 2 are nearly on the same level. I love the cutscene in both. I love the story telling in Halo 2 more but I hate the campaign missions in 2 more than I did in 4. Halo 4 has those incredible forerunner structures like Halo CE too. That is another reason why it is ahead of Halo 2.

Reach had a lot of potential but it failed to deliver unfortunately. Halo Wars is a different story for not being a FPS.

At the end I am judging the games by the campaign. lol. I should not do that.

Early in Halo 3's lifespan there were popular multiplayer clips of Spike grenades getting stuck to frags, and rockets hitting frags in mid air. It's been there since Halo 2.

Yeah, I remember HawaiianPig posting pics of it happening in Halo 3 MP. (Can't remember whether it was true in Halo 2.)

Sounds about right. Seems like it happens a lot more frequently in 4, but that might just be my own personal experience.

You've been able to shoot grenades since Halo 2.

I can't remember which ones are which for grenades being shootable on the ground. I think it's H1 = yes, H2 = no, H3 = yes, Reach = yes, 4 = yes?

Shooting rockets out of the air has been possible since 3.

Ricochet/bounce shots have been in since 2. A lot more surfaces started bouncing shots in 3 MP though.

It is a lot easier to do since Reach, however

Hitscan probably made it happen more.

I don't see why not, it's how I judge them. I jumped into Halo because of CE's mystifying main menu and from the first cutscene I was hooked.

I get exactly how you feel with Halo 4 and 2. They're a little bit equal in terms of the story just because of the character focus in the games.

ODST was just pure gold. The free-roam, my dreams of playing as an ODST, Engineers finally getting in the games, firefight. Bungie did a great job with that game. Different, but still Halo.

I agree completely with Reach, and it's campaign was my biggest disappointment. I think it Staten wrote it it would've turned out better. The last two missions were cool, but the characters were flat. Which is a shame considering how much they were hyped.

I never liked being able to shoot grenades or rockets out of the air. It just never felt like it was something that was ever done intentionally in actual gameplay, more of a "well I guess that just happened, sucks to be that guy" kind of thing. I'd rather those objects, along with things like the flagpole, just allow shots to pass through them.

Speaking of which, why do players not clip through flag stands in H4? Strafing across your flag spot on something like Adrift is a huge pain in the ass because you get bumped up into the air as if it were some amateur Forge map. They made it and things like the Oddball (I think)/Grifball solid, which in the Grifball's case means that when autopickup is not enabled, players can kick it just by running into it. If we can't stop that from happening, Assault using Grifball settings is one step further away.

I also don't remember ever shooting a grenade out of someone's hand in any game prior to Reach (doesn't mean it didn't happen). There might have been a thing that only let you shoot it a certain (short) time period after the grenade was thrown

You can detonate explosives by shooting them with normal bullets but the shotgun wasnt able to do that and you can only deflect rockets in prior games not just simple detonates it in mid air as far as I remember, I miss rendering clips.

I think you could snipe grenades in Halo 3, but nothing else worked, although, I'm probably wrong.

Wish nades had modifiers to become one-hit kills on impact, with no detonation. Would make for some fucking hilarious custom games. Or hell, make that into an actual power weapon.

do they still do that when you have basically no health and no shield in 4? I know they did in Reach
