I really want Bayern to win. What a special feeling to play the UCL final in your home stadium!'cause he's Dutch.
He's not used to kicking the ball.
So..what are the odds of a Halo fest follow up?
Except Robben scored. Surprised he didn't dive DURING the penalty.Bayern is redeeming itself.
This match.

Still bitter about yesterday. I hate how Chelsea plays. Even with 11 all they did was hang back 95% of the match. Same with the first match.Yesterday's and today's match, man oh man.
Even those who don't like football/soccer should be encouraged to watch.

In all honesty, probably the only real way to beat Barca at the moment.
Have a dose of this:Well, this is sad. Now we've hit bottom. Soccer discussion. Frank, how about some Halo 4 news or something. Screen or anything.
So... I heard it sounds like a perfect sitcom if a guy from Florida shares a room with a German.I'll be at PAX Prime. Let's do this.
The hotels at the airport are pretty cheap. Connection from the Airport to the city is pretty good. And I'm pretty. I heard Halo 4 is going to have a pretty sound. How much is a typical hotel ? talkibg the gf into going

Holy shit, maybe you can contribute something good to a halo thread.

lmao this was great
Anyone got any advice on what i should do im confused.
I can order the tickets as soon as i get money and flights seem to be around £400-£500 Per person which im fine with.
However transport from airport to hotel and actual hotel prices are the only issues, i dont want to go and blindly book flights and end up losing money because i cant pay for the hotel in the end.
Whats everyone else doing about the issue.
PAXsite said:Looking for a place to stay? Unfortunately our housing registration system isn't quite ready. If you try to book hotels now, don't be afraid if everything is reserved...it's reserved FOR US. You'll get better luck (and savings) in a week or two when we can push out the hotels system.
I didn't get any secret special beta love from David.
lol, did you really believe that?I didn't get any secret special beta love from David.
I will say this though, the actual PAX portion is the least exciting part of those 2 trips I took. Meeting people, going to Bungie/343, seeing the city>>>>stuffed show floor with 3 hour lines to play a 10 minute demo.
For two people? About $200/night if you want to be within walking distance of PAX (which I highly recommend). If you don't mind a place with small rooms and no air-conditioning, try "Hotel Seattle". It's a pretty shitty place but you can get a room 0.31 miles from PAX for $98/night. I stayed there last year and it wasn't too bad, considering almost all my time was spent at the convention center anyways. Not staying there this year though, they're already out of rooms that have two beds. How much is a typical hotel ? talkibg the gf into going
On the same scale? Very unlikely. I think last year's was pretty expensive for them and this year isn't the 10-year anniversary.So..what are the odds of a Halo fest follow up?
If you're hoteling downtown, there's the train that goes directly from the airport to down for around 3 bucks. Might have been 2.50? Either way much cheaper than a cab
We have to wait around a week until the PAX rooms go on sale, according to the site, so nobody knows prices on those yet
I'm gonna say the rock bottom for HaloGAF was either when someone accidentally posted a picture of a testicle OR the numerous bestiality GIFs on the previous pages.Well, this is sad. Now we've hit bottom. Soccer discussion. Frank, how about some Halo 4 news or something. Screen or anything.

The Airport hotels are pretty good too. I paid $100 for a room with air conditioner, free WiFi(which is pretty important for us EU-guys) and every hotel has a shuttle transport to the Airport for free. So you can use that option, take the Light Rail(which is in the Airport) and exit at the last station. Then you have to go two blocks and you are at the Convention center.lol, did you really believe that?
(FWIW, I think pretending to get beta PMs is kind of annoying. Sure, trolling Waypoint lurkers is fun, but then Frank/David/Jessica have to go through the hassle of once again saying that there are no secret beta codes being given out.)
Every time I see a PAX newbie I tell them that any line longer than an hour isn't worth it. I had more fun playing Munchkin and Rock Band 2 at PAX East than any unreleased games. The real highlights were the dinnertime Halo discussions.

I'm sure there will still be a pretty decent Halo presence though, with 4 on the horizon. Something playable and a panel or two.
Mario's got a little brute zone going on there.Have a dose of this:
Cheers, im going to wait till payday and see what happens. Ill grab the tickets asap i think and we will see what happens from then hopefully hotels are nicely priced i wouldnt mind staying downtown is it worth staying a few more days to visit anything nice in Seattle or not?
<3 Mario. I think the one celebrity I would want to meet above all other celebrities who I haven't currently had the privilege of meeting... DJ Qualls would top the list.Mario's got a little brute zone going on there.
Yes, I'll download the clip when I get home tonight.Duncan did you get my PM?
Imposter! There can be only one...No sir I did not.
Try again?

I had a ridiculously long post written up in reply to all that nonsense.hit up the gaming side halo thread for wonderful discussion about how camo + shotgun rules all and if you disagree you just arent good enough.
Same here. I was about to go full force, but decided it wasn't worth the effort.I had a ridiculously long post written up in reply to all that nonsense.
Then the common sense center of my brain kicked in and told me to sit the fuck down, it isn't worth it.
How expensive is the Sheraton?I'm going to try to get the Sheraton, probably finally rent a room under my name instead of subletting off someone else. I went to the Olive 8 last year and while it wasn't bad (it was only 2 blocks from the Convention Center), the Sheraton is easier to meet up with other people at since that seems to be where everyone I know rooms up at.
I guess your not a part of HaloGAF elite bro, playing that shit right now.
Hey guys, I need some advice. I picked up my 360 with Halo Reach when it came out and I don't own any other Halo games on the system. Lately I've been in the mood for some good old fashioned Team Slayer but Reach isn't really doing it for me, primarily because of how bad the maps are (the only ones I really enjoy are the Halo 2 forge maps).
Anyway, my question is this --- should I pick up Halo 3 or Halo: CE Anniversary to get my fix? The main thing I'm interested in is some good maps and I don't have the fondest memories of the ones in Halo 3 but like I said, I never owned the game myself.

I'd say pick up ODST, you get a pretty awesome Halo campaign with like... 24? multiplayer maps, most of them fantastic, in my opinion.
Thanks guys. Wow, I totally forgot ODST added maps to Halo 3. All I could remember was that it was the same base multiplayer. If you want to play Halo 3 multiplayer, buy ODST. It has all the DLC maps for Halo 3 and a pretty awesome campaign+firefight.
For which game you should buy, it really depends on what you want. Halo 3 has the better maps IMO, but a low population and a bad netcode when you compare it to Reach.
Anniversary only has 6 multiplayer maps, but they're pretty good. The maps have their own playlist so it's easy to actually play the maps and it has classic settings so you get a 3-shot pistol.
