oh no doubt about it, I wan't the best Halo game ever created with H4, but my thinking right now, is without any MP gameplays around and just a couple gifs of the br and sprinting i'm not going to worry about it until i get some concrete evidence of it being shit...I just want to have fun playing Halo again
Halo devs have heard concerns presented in all manners and never listen, much less adjust the games accordingly. Cynicism gets the same response as politeness: condescending reassurance.

BF3 has alot of problems but its good. Not sure i have the highs i get when playing halo but i certainly dont get the lows i do from reach
BF3's recent update and Reach's playlists have killed my desire to play either.
Played once after the update. Never again.

Completely agree. But before the patch..
Haven't had as much fun playing a video game since Halo 2.
What's your reasoning? Mine is that I absolutely hate what they've done with servers and getting into match, and vehicles seem super wimpy now.

For me, nothing beats a good game of rush. BF3 has some of the exhilarating moments in gaming. Like this weekend, I was playing with some guys, we were playing rush on kharg island. 1 m-com left in the last stage, my squad single handedly defended that thing, with enemy helis and tanks obliterating everything around us. Soooo good.

Those reasons, as well as the feel of shooting changed a bit, and I don't like it. It's entirely possible that I just need to get used to it though as I truly haven't played it much since the patch. The servers are really annoying now though.
Yeah, I assumed that was the case. I edited my post to EST for that reason, haha.
Didn't know how much I was missing Reach until CyReN put up that video.
I was responding to a post in which Squid said I was thinking about regeneration, and adding my thoughts on that subject.

I love Rush. Loads of fun and intense experiences.
I'd agree about the fixes, but the servers and getting into games really killed it for me. I hate playing on people's servers unsure of settings. I just want normal settings all the time and to be put into full matches.
Most vehicles are crap now.
Supression is ridiculous. Someone shoots one bullet in your direction and you're immediately blind. Everyone just prones on a corner and take advantage of the super powerful supression.
And they OP'd some really stupid weapons. Now people just roll with that 870 shotgun, the M26 dart and as val(i think that's the name).
Just awful, can't have fun with that.

Opinion of what, exactly? We've seen a couple of clips out of context on a game that's not even finished, and "journalist" articles that were so shitty that 343 had to do a podcast to help people from freaking the fuck out about the new additions to the series. What we know so far is that the BR has recoil and the DMR has a locked firing rate and bloom is apparently gone. I'm actually with you on the recoil in that's it's mostly unnecessary for a mid-long range rifle, but for now I'm fairly impartial to it's inclusion until I play the game. Not sure what a more 'elegant' solution would be to limit it's role in the hitscan sandbox, considering it's range is already limited compared to the DMR (I think that's the case, not sure).
Same here. I don't like the idea of giving people a leg up that's not obvious to their opponents; another reason why AA's in Reach are mostly shit.
More enlightenment can't come soon enough.

Read the rest of his post. He said "Not quite...", with the elipses. Elipses which lead to the quote below, adding the correction about regeneration, citing that correction as a way to respond to me. Which I then responded to.

I feel bad for the Bioshock Infinite fans, but it seems like the right choice for that franchise. They will own the first part of that year and if the dev team can add more content/features then so much the better.
Even with the delay, the holiday season is going to be nuts for the games industry. Records will be broken. Wallets will evaporate. A third thing will happen for rhetorical reasons.

He's not being a white knight, he gets it in a sea of people who don't. I appreciate that. All I know is if the framerate stumbles or recoil is annoying or the maps are shitty, I am going to be drinking salty tears on a nearly biblical level come November.
