I know you weren't speaking to me directly, but seeing as how I'm about as passionate for Firefight as Ghaleon, your words make my nethers tingle.
My only real concern is longevity. It sounds like a combination of campaign and Firefight, which to me sounds perfectly awesome. I do have fears that it won't reach a wide enough population to warrant subsequent episodes/whatever it was you call it, which would be very heart-breaking
Dude, you're hitting me in all the right spots. I have a total of a 50 mile commute to and from work every day, and listening to a non-buttrock version of Halo music would be a great way to spend that time.
Teammates were godly? Story of his life huh? Lol

lol at Totz hate in 2012. I don't give a shit about the dude, but he was good. You don't get carried to top 3 at MLG events, that shit just doesn't happen. At least people ripping on him isn't as bad as the MLG forums talking shit about how bad Ogre 2 is. Ogre 2 has apparently been carried his whole career according to obese MLG forum kids.

I know that feel bro.
Luckily there's a pretty regular service which has wifi, but its a looooong commute.
Yes... yes you do... he has a poor shot, poor awareness, and a complete lack of understanding in how to move with team mates. Or at least did every single time I watched him.
You know what no one's really talking about? Commendations and such.
I really hope that the commendations become more like Call of Duty's awards system

interesting, because I was watching Flamesword scrim recently and the subject of Totz came up. Everyone was basically in agreement that his shot was really good in Halo 3.
From the info we already got, that seems to be the case.Spartan Ops can't have less longevity than Reach Firefight has (to me, anyway). Shooting gallery is just boring. A good campaign can last years, all Halo campaign's but Reach's have that longevity. If Halo 4 campaign is good and Spartan Ops is at least equal in quality, it'll last years, assuming the missions can be replayed whenever one wants to. Of course the more new missions, the better.

Maybe I was watching him while he was taking too much Addy lol
Seriously though - not hating on the guy, just calling like I see it. Maybe I just have a high standard for what a "good" pro player looks like.
Depends on how they market it, and definitely depends on how good the overall experience is. Specifically, how well they can get players invested in their Spartans and the story.
And how that investment is paid off. I am confident this could be the standout mode for halo 4, if everything falls into place, and with the current gaming circle concentrating on social and co-op experiences, we could have a mode that's as well received as the MP from ME3.
Why don't you tell them how much you use this regular wifi service to annoy Elzar!![]()
That my concern aswell, We have heard reports that the upcoming SpOps (i like it) is "season 1" which leads me to believe that if successful then we would get future seasons however this obviously has to be beneficial for microsoft and 343i from a profit stand point im assuming that SpOps is going to take a hell of a lot of work and thus money and i feel while it will be successful it wont see wide spread adoption from the multiplayer community which could mean that MS and 343i wont see investing in a second season being worth it.
I have grand ideas what SpOps could end up evolving into, away from just S4 away mission's and it could be a fantastic way to keep the Halo story churning in game format during the down time between games.
I assume nothing is set in stone with SpOps future just yet and that gives me some hope at least.
Ok let's be real here. Totz is certainly a great player in general. However, he was certainly bottom of the Pro Circuit food chain. Anytime I ran into him in MM, it was like ok, Totz, let's do this. When I ran into someone like Fearitself, Elamite or Hysteria, shiiit I turned the volume up, adjusted my seat, gave a pregame talk to my teammates and got fired up. Big difference. Talking H3 here btw.

Seeing Hysteria in matchmaking was like the kiss of death. A couple of my friends played against him on KOTH Construct, and he went like +60-somethingOk let's be real here. I hope Halo 4 has plot twists that involve character deaths that hit home, like Call of Duty. It should also have people talking to you over the headset, like COD.

funny as hell. [/URL]
I like this.
The best placing he ever got was 7th according to the MLG wiki. Can't find official results anywhere though.
Maybe Matchmaking update infoMeh, we'd get the same amount of relevant info without a bulletin.
Tashi made an art thread to help me sell stuff in OT.
What a cool guy (and that sultry voice while he is streaming killin' dudes)
Basically this.Meh, we'd get the same amount of relevant info without a bulletin.
<3
Pretty bad ass stuff btw
Maybe Matchmaking update infoannouncing that Squad Slayer is back and that Refuge is replacing Asylum across the board.
Four day weekend: Initiate.

Why was refuge not picked up? It seemed better in every respect and it wouldn't have the framerate issues that Asylum has (can't look from Snipe to Snipe etc)
Really dig that thread Tashi. You're full of great ideas lately![]()
From South Austin to Round Rock. I've recently gotten hooked on podcasts.i said damn
edit: two and from, half as bad

Sounds like I need to play the ME3 mode. I played the SP demo, but didn't bother to sign up just so I could play MP.
