It sounds like "Map Default" weapon settings are actually being used again for the first time since Halo 2

Just saw Alien for the first time. I can sort of see why it's so beloved, but it didn't quite charm me so. Was definitely an interesting film however. Was pretty good with the tension but that wasn't maintained throughout the film. Perhaps I'm just not used to horror in a sci-fi setting (all I kept thinking was "how the fuck did the alien put on so much mass so quickly without imbibing anything?"). I also liked how Ripley wasn't brain dead ass stupid like the lead is in most horror flicks. Disappointing that Weaver had literally no ass to speak of though.
I dunno. I saw Godfather for the first time around New Years and could immediately see why that movie was considered a classic. I'm much more skeptical about Alien. Maybe I need to go through it another time or two. And if its defining feature is camera work or some technical shit like that then I don't care. That stuff is mostly lost on me.

About 47 minutes in, you're talking about integrating a news feed into the game. Surely they'd be working on Waypoint integration, so you don't have to load up a separate app.

why the fuck can you still get on the top of the map on Powerhouse? 343 took the time to put barrels up there, why the hell couldn't they have just made it a hard killzone?

Didn't they put fusion coils up there? Sounds like a good enough deterrent, 'till proven otherwise.

the problem is, you can still stand on the bumps with no consequence and shoot all the way across the map without being able to be hit. Also, you can't even see the coils on 75% of the map

They should soft kill it. Hard kill not necessary. IIRC it has a callout "concrete vents" or something like that.
