It's awesome. I hope the Pro variant costs about $1000. It would be a dream. Definitely getting one of these things if Microsoft is releasing them in Europe.

On page 343 of my study book for my federal licensure exam and it's all about how to use diaphragms and spermicide as contraception.

YOU'RE WELCOME, FELLAS.

I think I did about 28 hours straight when Vice City first released on PS2. Had a couple friends over and just poopsocked hard. I remember feeling like I was going to die near the end of it.

What if Watchers could throw back rockets?
MAKE IT HAPPEN 343
I just assumed they could from the first time I saw them. Makes sense that they can catch and throw any slow moving projectile, and rockets are not that fast.

Would be hilarious if they bully the player. Push the player back whenever you get near, or tip over Mongoose/Warthog.

it would be a really awesome enemy if this game had equipment. throw bubble shield, watcher grabs it and takes off with it. throw tripmine, watcher flies away with it, drops it in front of your vehicle as your driving. throw a power drainer, it throws it back at you. etc.

:lol like 343 did in his boss fight? Miniaturized versions of that would be such bullshit in campaign and I approve completely.

Friend of mine did Mass Effect 2 in one sitting (only eating and going to the bathroom, no sleep).

:eek: Could that make a cool grenade type? Push Genade/Gravity Grenade or something? You could use it to block off parts of the map for a moment, deflect projectiles, push yourself up to jump higher, and throw people off the map of course...

I think I want this now.

Interesting tid-bit from podcast, the early names for the Promethean types-

Watchers= Bishops
Crawlers=Pawns

I assume Knight was always know as a Knight then.. its too bad, I kinda like the Bishop and Pawn names a lot more. Speaking of the Knight, Im still not fully sold on his design, it feels a little too awkward/cheesey in visual design. Especially with what (little) we know about Forerunners and Prometheans.

Next Forerunner novel working title is Silentium (Silencium?).

Yeah I have no idea how to spell what they were saying. =P

so anyway i was reading through cryptum the other day and noticed something interesting.

I was escorted along lifts and enclosed tracks by two guards of the Council’s own select security, designated by sleek black and red armor. Through translucent walls, I saw unfamiliar automatons speeding along their own tracks and tubeways; some were decorated in the most alarming insectoid carapaces. But more surprising still were the numerous embodied and heavily armored ancillas. I had heard of Warrior-Servants utilizing such during battle and for other special tasks, but we encountered hundreds spaced throughout the ship, floating in serene quiescence, in apparent low-power mode, their blue, red, or green sensors dimly aglow. They will come alive in an emergency. They can replace human commanders, if necessary. They are a vital portion of the Council metarchy—the overall network of ancillas that support the Council. But compared to a metarch-level ancilla, these are mere toys.

i just thought this sounded really similar to the Promethean AI enemies we've seen in the demo. it could also be describing sentinels, but they've never been known to be different colors. it's probably just a coincidence but you never know.
