I thought it was Cerberus, so yeah I guess that's a spoiler, but I don't get to play the mission so it's not a big deal.

It's just really frustrating that I get fucked out of that mission without any warning from the game that that's even possible.

Always do all side things that you can before doing main quests, that happens several times over the course of the game. Except the side stuff that you secretly can't do until later because they don't tell you that the system you need doesn't unlock until later.

It's ridiculous.

Well yeah that's what made it so frustrating was that I was trying to do a side mission, but the place I went to automatically triggered a main plot event that I didn't want to do yet.
