Nexus is agreed by most pros and great am's to be one of the better maps for strategy. Takes a lot of teamwork to lock down the spawns.

Altogether I think I've spent a total of $100, though some of it was on tools that needed replacing like a dremel and a heat gun. I think you could get away with $60 to accomplish a very good looking helmet. I also have taken a lot pics detailing my progress that I'll eventually upload. There are some really good 405th tutorials on youtube that go through the entire process.
