343 the guy you got doing rock textures does good work. best looking rocks in halo to date.
the rest of the level is gorgeous as well.
EDIT: although, the ground textures don't look so good.

I still don't like the new medals. The lack of color variation makes them all feel samey. None feel cool and exceptional. Same thing with the constant announcer call outs. Steitzer might as well be congratulating us for walking. 30 steps = STEPSTRAVAGANZA.

Ooh, those ground textures do look pretty horrific though. Do like Reach and throw a bunch of grass on top so you don't see that crap.

Nevermind to my last post, these 2 look a lot better. Have to watch the video though.
all that matters to me (i hope its also solid in single player). but i agree: the groundtextures are not pretty.
Also, a close up of the backpack AA or whatever it is.

That is a jetpack. Look at the exhaust nozzles.
