Alright! I'll do the OT but I will need some help from those not at PAX. I need some cool headers (or at least a main header) and some updates.

I have started writing a very basic info OT too.

I can have it up before noon tomorrow my time (10am PST).

Can anyone make a cool header?

I can help with gathering info, etc, but I dont have any computer art skills.

EDIT: Someone fill me in on streams, news places, etc? Trying to figure out what to have in the OT.

IGN will be doing livestreams and posting a bunch of info. Waypoint should have stuff up after conferences I believe.

try googling one of Ghal's |OT|s that he did for past similar events, for guidance on how to structure the initial content and the updates, we'll help you with the updates throughout the weekend

I'll do my best for sure. All day tomorrow should be fine, it will be tomorrow night and Saturday night I'll have some issues with, but not much news will be coming then.

I do agree it looks somewhat forerunnerish but there was forerunner structures all through out the game. So I don't think it was ruined at all. I watched in HD and still couldn't make out what it was.

Also folks remember movies could mean the Halo Legends.

First place I thought of back then when they said a CE area would be a FF map. I'll probably stay away from ever touching it, don't want to feel dirty by staining that holy ground with Reach's gameplay/sandbox. I'd rather just repeat that section over and over in CEA. Speaking of which, I hope they allow us to jump straight to multiple mid-level checkpoints without having to start the missions always from the beginning, like in the recent games.

I wonder if they will possibly apply classic weapons and settings to the map. I wouldn't be too surprised if that map has its own feel.

I'd love it if they could pull something like that off. It would be wicked to have a very Halo like experience on the anniversary firefight map.

Looks like I got the mission right, though that looks like a different drop zone than I speculated. In hindsight that one is more obvious.

Should have a regular Warthog. And hopefully, no crates.

If you are both spraying then yes, but if you burst fire appropriately, then spray when you get really close, you can win easily. FyreWulff does it all the time. Also, you can burst fire an AR and drop someone's shields surprisingly quick from pretty decent range, then you can switch to Pistol or some other headshot weapon and finish the kill. It works, try it.
