To make this Halo Related, the best way I can put it is that I think Halo 3 has the best multiplayer, a lot of you would say no way, I'm wrong, that is Halo 2.
Yeah I enjoy the Star Wars Prequels, episode two is alright, and I think One and Three are Great, I don't think they are on the same level as the first two Star Wars movies though.
I loved Indy 4, I think it was true to the spirit of the time it took place in, and Indiana Jones as a series. It was exactly what Indiana Jones should be, I think Lucas and Spielberg did a great job with it. I laughed at the fridge scene, I thought the swinging vines was a little weak, but that's hardly detectable from the movie as a whole.
Indy 4 was one of the few times I have ever been
angry after seeing the movie in theaters. Transformers 2 levels of bad, only in that case I had lower expectations and could laugh at the absurdly inane sequences. Clearly we have completely different mindsets for these types of films. Agree to disagree.
If I'm going to go eastward I think I prefer to hold out for any hope of an HBO LAN over a PAX that gets the leftovers of Prime. Can't afford to go to the least coast twice in one year.
Prime
+ Lines up with dev schedules a little better (at least for big ticket Fall/Holiday releases).
+ Convention center is closer to downtown than Boston (easier to find somewhere to eat nearby).
+ Benefits from being the "original" PAX, closer to more dev studios.
- Washington State Convention & Trade Center is pretty much at max capacity.
East
+ The BCEC is HUGE. No capacity issues yet, plenty of room to expand.
+ Attendance numbers have matched Prime's, so devs won't undervalue East.
- Have to take a cab if you want to get downtown.
I wouldn't say East gets Prime's leftovers. Besides, the games on the showfloor really aren't that important to me. IMO, PAX is about the people. Three days of just standing in line with like-minded nerds would be worth it.
If I get to meet a new batch of people and make new friends = WIN.
If I get to catch up with friends I haven't seen in the 6 months since Prime = WIN.

I'll see about setting up a PAX list page on halogaf.com, should help with hotel sharing, etc. An event page on the Facebook group will also be handy for coordinating meetups. I'll make one closer to the actual date, it's a bit early for that now.
