I don't care for those long posts discussing a single weapon's balance either, but expecting people not to do it is way too much, this is a thread for discussing everything Halo after all. Just do what I do and if you see yet another super long post, at a glance see if it's more of the same and if so just skip it and avoid the headache.

I may have missed that, but I remember him saying that the outdoor areas with the generator was part of powerhouse, then retracting that later. He may have said something about smelter too,

we'll see in a week :).

They only ever mention head shots and melees.

Take a look at at the credits - it clearly says "IGN Entertainment presents"...

Yeah, this was my understanding. Basically if they have even a sliver of shield yet, you are still going to need two shots with a given headshot weapon to kill.

Unless it's the sniper.

Last year, my employer (Intel) thought it would be funny to post a note on the internal website trying to downplay a leaked memo that was circulating about upcoming mass layoffs. As a joke.

A joke that came on the heels of actual mass layoffs (over 30,000 in three years, including 10,000 last year), and just a couple days after I was given a buyout offer (three months pay and benefits to walk out the door - didn't take it, thankfully still employed). I was NOT amused.
